I liked almost everything I saw from him last night

15 carries for 51 yards for a 3.4 YPC

would like to see what he can do behind a decent O-Line. That 3rd string O-Line he was trying to run behind was just atrocious, and I believe he had at least one decent run called back because of a hold by Dill

What say ye?

He missed a couple holes, but I like his ability, and he might be VERY good. Love his quickness.

Definitely needs room to run. Looked pretty good when he had a lane.
I saw some of the dancing the reports have mentioned.

Zac just hits the hole. I love that. No competition for the #1 spot.

I like that quick step of Mason. He certainly seems like he'll be capable when needed.

Zac is my boy, however. Powerful and compact. He has shown exceptional ability to always fall forward.

Can he catch the ball? That is what I want to know.

It's the deepest we've been at running back since? A long time.
Very deep. I'll take what we have now over Steven Jackson, and I am a huge fan of his. But having multiple very good guys is better than one great guy. Now I would take Marshall over this group.

Ya but they didn't really utilize them much at the same time. I would have traded back and forth with them to really challenge a defense. ;)

Maybe...ever.

In my lifetime, I believe the best rushing team the Rams have had was in 1973. They rushed for around 2800 yards. We had Lawrence McCutcheon (1097), Jim Bertlesen (854), Tony Baker (344), Larry Smith (291) and an aging Les Josephsen.

Our depth this year reminds me of those guys... (y)

Those aren't very good numbers. I would like to see what he could do with some actual holes to run through and the entire defensive line not in the backfield on every play.
Yeah 3.4 isn't good, but having 2-3 guys meeting him at the handoff in 4 plays or so really skew that number down. He showed what I needed to see from him.
