Hilton's cap hit from 2018 to 2020 averages $14.5 million. The amount of the tag is irrelevant. The amount Watkins will re-sign for is the important number.
 
I wish Garoppolo had gone somewhere other than NFC West...Laughers can laugh, but the Whiners just got quite a bit better...

Just not seeing the upside for colts. Hilton is great. Just need the qb to have a second to throw.

The idea doesn't make sense if the Colts want to retain Hilton. It only makes sense if the relationship is done. In that case, they don't walk away from the deal without a weapon for Luck when he gets back.
