Yeah he almost lost his nuts on that play. Watch the slo-mo and you can see once Gurley leaps he spears him right in the crotch. OUCH!
I feel like the Gurdle not only has an immediate impact to get a few yards but it also has a longer term impact of
Causing the defense to stop going low and taking out Gurleys legs.
Once defenders prep for Gurley they will see the Gurldles and realize they have to be careful not to go low on him.

That should be okay this season right? Using the helmet to strike the nuts is still the helmet. Maybe he can draw some flags that way too.

Is it me or the the first two defenders in the video are trying to tackle shoulder first straight to the knee ?
