Sorry but any ahole that turns his back on his marriage and family is not deserving of accolades IMO. Then to top it off he didn't even sniff the playoffs. This is a case of ego run amok, and a player who played too long. Way to go Tommy boy you went out on the bottom. His deterioration was evident if you cared to break it down. If he wanted to run off with groupie whores then he could have handled his breakup better. Now only Gisele has the last laugh.
When I got divorced my ex and I didn't wait until it turned hateful. We sat down and had a 2 hour heart to heart talk. She wanted to go in a totally different direction with her life. Our divorce was as amicable as you would ever know. We remained very close friends until COVID took her. We continued to be supportive of one another for 16 years.
My son chose to stay with me and custody was the only sticking point in the divorce. Not between my ex and I but the CA courts refused to accept that a father can raise his son. Ultimately we took the attorney's suggestion and she got legal custody then gave me actual custody and power of attorney. And people wonder why I hate the legal system.

Man, I am going to catch shit… I don’t have any anger against the dude anymore. Something flipped with me a couple of years ago.

It seems off the field he’s not the prototypical jerk type, either. He seems more normal than most at his level of fame, anyway.

I guess now’s when everyone says nice things about Tommy, I was listening to Gottlieb and he comes out with, all the accusations against the patriots are bogus. He went on to say that stealing signals is part of sports culture. I thought he was trying too hard to erase any blemishes on the great one’s image. Trying to decipher opponents signals during play is not even close to surreptitiously taping their plays during practice. Players have said that there were plays put in specifically for the SB that the patriots were somehow familiar with. The league felt that if the footage ever got out it would make the team and owner pariah so it disappeared.
