Amen Merlin. I love me some Brees This second game is going to be totally different and I'm going to love silencing that crowd.

We won't have to doulbe Thomas with Talib in and might have to roll coverage some but Talib will be able to handle him where he isn't the sole factor in deciding the game. With that said we face Ginn many a times and nothing he has scares me that can't be handled. If your LT is down for the that game will be the big deciding factor in shifting the balance.

As far as the noise there is nothing else that warrants a benefit your way your way in that dome. With the athletes we have we will be able to run up and down the field scoring like we did before and your going to have to contain AD for a second time. Very unlikely.

I agree about losing Terron Armstead. If he is out that is going to add a major obstacle that don’t need. Let’s hope we get the rematch we all want.

True that man! I don't see anybody stopping either one of us until we meet in the Championship game regardless who we play. Wish I could go down their and drink a few with you! lol Any chance you going to the game to?

We have been season ticket holders since 2006, you can count on seeing me there as long as we are in the postseason.

Nice! Debating moving within striking distance of LA next few years. Will be nice to watch your team every year. I bet that place gets rocking. Even though we differ on what we think will happen I can't be made at somebody's opnion no matter how wrong they are! :rolllaugh::fuelfire:

I want the Rams to treat the 49ers game like a must win game for several reasons. 1) First round bye with second round home game. 2) Momentum for the playoffs. 3) 49ers are playing tough lately and I want Rams to take care of them (unlike week 17 last year)

You're so right. Gotta beat the Niners and I hope Ram fans outnumber considerably 49er fans. It has been vice-versa since the Rams's return. A darn important game for a first-round bye is up for grabs. The Niners would like nothing more than to beat their rivals and possible erect an obstacle to the Rams's road to the Super Bowl. GO RAMS!!

Ex freaking xactly! Dude Talib is going to blanket his ass! If we can somewhat ratter Brees it’s done! IMO. If our ST’s contribute it will make it a landslide. Hell we came back to tie it 35-35. I have zero doubts we get to NO and give them a hell of a game at least. Chances are we win just by facing a team that beat us in the season! I’m so f’n excited right now! Lol
In the first game I remember 2 quick tichy tack pass interference calls on Peters at the beginning of the game. That set the tone. From that time on Peters was off his game cause he was afraid of getting called. I expect similar shit as far as PI against us. I would only hope Talib and the gang don't back down and make them call it. What will happen is the refs will have to let them play. It is the playoffs after all.

I understand the “just noise” thing because basically that’s a given no matter the postseason venue

The way I see it the Saints worst possible matchup is not a team like the Rams or Vikings, but perhaps a team built like Seattle or Dallas
That is what I want to see. Seattle at Saints. Then whether the saints win or loose, they will have been beaten on. It will make a difference. The Rams play Dallas or Bears. One Wild card makes it thru and will have to play the Saints. My money is Seattle.

You have to take into account Ted Ginn. Yesterday was his first game back and he had 8 targets, 5 catches, and 74 yards. You can double MT, but now (unlike the last game) you have to account for Ginn.

I feel fine about our ability to cover Ginn. We have Marcus Peters. And if we want somebody faster, we can put Sam Shields on him. But I imagine we'll let him and Peters go at it. Peters matches up well against a guy like Ginn. It's the big, physical WRs he struggles to cover. The question will be if Peters is willing to play smart and disciplined. Regardless, Ginn isn't somebody who scares me. Thomas and Kamara do. We have the horses to contain them now (in the passing game).

It is a must win game?! We playing the Whiners for home field?

This!

A better more indepth breakdown of what i forsee. It even adds up if their LT can't go. I dont see AD being contained two times in a row either.

We might have a DB that can shadow Kamara.

It's possible we could put Peters on Kamara and Shields on Ginn. But my guess would be that Wade does what he did in the second half of the last game. Kamara was burning us on every third down in the first half, so Wade bracketed him with Littleton and Joyner or Christian. That gave us a defender to guard each alternative on the choice routes.

Yeah that’s a good point. Either way I think just as long as they all stay healthy this favors us.

So all those whining and worried about beating the Whiners ( you guys kissing cousins? :D )

Anyways, I see us playing the Cow tits and the Eagles win.

Then we whip the Cowturds on the way to new Orleans.

Anybody see this path as well?

I'd (and I bet all of you) would rather Foles wins against the Saints and the championship game is in Los Angeles.
"fast track" or not.
