What do think of our Tavon Austin 2.0?
Never ceases to amaze me how quickly fans want to bury a player, who they didn't envision their team drafting in their own silly mock drafts. Especially in this case where we are heading into week 4 and that player is sitting behind 4 very good WRs while he is learning & developing and will likely be needed in the offense at some point this yr.

Not to mention the kid caught everything thrown to him in preseason, where the offense was limited with an OL filled with 3rd stringers and a QB who couldn't throw deep.

Not many rookies will step in on day one on this team and make an impact and that's a good thing. This is not the Jeff Fisher Rams...thank God.

Of course you buried Brian Allen as well... Among other draft picks, often times before they are even given a chance to play.

Have some patience.

I enjoy watching Urban Liar lose.

When he went for the TD on 4th down instead of taking the chip shot FG attempt (The jags had a 14 -0 lead)... I told my son "They're gonna get stopped and lose the game by 3 points or less". Once they got stopped, I got up and went to bed... I asked my son if he wanted to bet on the jags... he declined.

I always think back to hearing Madden calling the MNF games. He would always insist that you have to take the points when you're on the road. Like the game last night when Liar wanted to get cute and try to score another TD when he was already up by 14. I could hear Madden screaming in my head.... "Take the points, kick the FG Meyer. You're on the Road!!!".

The jags lost by 3 btw. My son and I saw the final results of the game this morning together. He looked at me and just shook his head.

What never ceases to amaze me is the fans that are lap dogs for any coaches and GM picks dating back since Shaw, Zygmunt, and whatever coach they put in there to waste time with. Heard for decades why a certain prospect was the best choice etc. while they either sit in futility on the bench or let go from the team for not being a good fit.

This has nothing to do with a mock draft, this has everything to do seeing the top four WR’s on the roster and we add a gadget player that is smaller than Tavon Austin aka time to get injured.

i don’t give a shit about preseason heroes, the NFL is a what have you done for me now business, and if he isn’t trusted to handle punt returner duties full time something is very wrong. We might have wasted a premium pick.

And to judge a pick by week three of his rookie yr is assinine.

I think judging a pick is judge at pick period at anytime.

Sometimes we are right & sometimes we are wrong.

When it came to Tutu I kept an open mind & listened to the coaches. He also was interviewed, which I judged.

I still am in the process & have said I was wrong about Tutu after I got mad was on IR.After learning more about him as a player & coaches I like what I see from Tutu.

Funny how Sean Mcvay kept all the white WR’s. Not sure if that is a Belacheat thing either.I liked Akers,Sko & Koski though. (Way of subject) Just stating I found those guys all still After the roster moves.

Tutu is a guy Mcvay likes & gave some true thoughts about his thinking on him a little.

Tutu got sick & he used himself as an example of getting away when your not feeling well.He led by example because that is the right thing during all that is going around.

Tutu is probably not going to play & Mcvay wants to give the other guys a chance to play a bigger role while the opportunity exist. Such as DeSean Jackson & Cooper Kupp.

Now as I post that it just shows me even a better example of why Tutu Atwell is even at better pick than I
imagined. DJ1 & Kupp around Tutu is only going to make him better.
Coach Joe D really likes him as well.
I think we will see a TD run back as a PR.

Huh what - Woods? Jackson? Tutu? um I think I am missing something here

But then again it is you so you could be speaking in your own language again.

Was really torn in this game, thought I would easily root for Cincinnati considering the time I spent in the great State of Ohio plus the fact I really like Joe Burrow. However, I found myself for some odd reason rooting for Jacksonville and I could not figure out why, until my lovely wife of 29 years said "You're rooting for your boy Urban." And at that moment I realized we've been together a long time.

Yeah - alright. Talking about the added depth, not the best veteran leader FA besides Whitworth & voted by the team it’s mvp his first season.
DJ1 the guy Mcvay signed as the burner & The Rams Top FA .Then The Rams Top draft pick.I’d say your really on Top of it as well.
There was another a Jackson who is on the Vikings practice squad that The Rams didn’t keep.Just thought it was interesting & how some thought he would make the 53.
It’s a QB thing, especially this week.Bryce Perkins is a guy The Rams really like.He has excellent value.

Robert Woods & Cooper Kupp are the only players from the beginning & Van Jefferson was a rookie.

DJ1 was The Rams only real FA in 2021 so I don’t think he is getting cut?

Then Tutu Atwell was added why ? as The Rams first player picked in 2021??

I count only 3 wrs, Oh and JJ Koski who know one wants to talk about.

My point was Koski,Akers & Ben Sko are The Rams reserves.Yes all white.I found that interesting & a
(I guess) Fact?

I liked JJ Koski better than T. Jackson.
Ben Sko is real fast & a core special teams guy.He made the roster which I thought was looking excellent in training camp until he got hurt.
Akers ? Didn’t even notice until seeing him in the preseason.

Just to add Harris to the mix. I lol at all the reports about how he is going to be the starter & WR.I like how he plays special teams & his future seems real bright.

Then adding Funk in the mix, another core special teams guy.He seems to keep on that same line of depth. Ironic- to me “lol” I find it funny & cool all at the same time.
To me it makes me want to go in the middle of SOFI stadium next to cheer leader Jessie & just scream.

Go Rams!!
