Watching Pat Shurmur is still as boring as ever. And his team is as energetic as he is. And can Janoris Jenkins do anything besides not cover his man or get PI? Given the PIs have been mostly bullshit but still. This game sucks.

Funny, my wife, who is a Giant fan asked me as we were watching the game "Den having flashbacks?"
The Giants are a hot mess. Why did they think to hire a coach who had a bad record his first time as head coach and was never a good OC to begin with? But he's always a hot candidate when its coach searching season. Might as well hire Jeff Fisher if you want a boring offense with limited wins.
I didn't like Shurmur when he was with the Rams, but he actually did a pretty good job with the Vikings last year, with arm-limited Case Keenum at QB. I really don't think he's the problem for the NYG, it's more the product of a lousy OL and a QB who is well past his sell-by date.

I honestly can't see another team having fewer wins this season.
Maybe wit the #1 overall pick, they take a QB this time. Saquon's for real, but good Lord is the rest of the team not good.

Yeah, I don’t miss that vanilla offense either.
I know that Mike Shula is the OC, but that’s a Shurmur style offense and the fans will come restless quickly with it.
The Giants have some oline issues, but with Manning, Beckham, and Barkley they should be doing better. There is talent on that offense.
Yeah, I highly doubt Pat Shurmer is calling these types of plays over and over. He was pretty good with the Eagles, too.
But you go to a team like the Browns and the 2009 Rams, you don't get the best players. That's why I can't ever blame coaches entirely at the NFL level. You need both in the pros.
