Seattle got lucky with the no PI call there

DB has the right to the football too, good no call and I'm pleased and concur with @Mojo Ram tired of the Arizona hype train, but Murray is one hell of a player IMO, however, in that uniform from a distant camera angle, looked like Gary Coleman was playing QB.

Very funny. I kept having visions of Tyrion Lannister in battle armour standing amongst the army

Good one, anybody old enough to remember the Fred Flintstone cartoon? Remember the alien guy with giant head and tiny body, I forget his name but every time I see Murray I can’t help thinking of him.

Bad ending for Murray there, but lets not lose sight of the fact that he did get them down there in a position to score. He didnt play his best game, but he is quite a threat. He's not suffering the sophomore slump like many have had before, the kid is for real.
And on the flip side, where we beat on our own team for head scratching play calls, WTF was that play that Seattle ran that could have lost them the game? That goofy half pitch/fumble to Hyde which lost a ton of yards? They were in position to put that game away and that stupid play gave AZ serious life.

I find it interesting how the cardinals score 21 points vs Seattle and people conclude Murray is a threat and for real. Rams score 24 in 3 Quarters and the narrative is our offense is pretty average.

And let’s skim past all those sacks Kyker took because he didn’t “see the rush or adjust at the line” along with the wide open throws he missed continually. Not a lot of discussion going on about those parts of the game.

And nobody is commenting on how Wilson threw a lot of short passes. Metcalf had a 25 yard TD reception on scramble/improvised route halfway through the 1st quarter and the longest completion after that was 11 yards. Wilson averaged 7.03 per attempt and 8.56 per completion last night.

I really didn't hear anyone else say it, but PP is not the same player he was a couple years ago. Should have had an easy pick and gave half hearted effort on some completions in coverage. He may have been Seattle's most valuable player last night

A key to me seems to be -- make murray beat you with only the pass. He really didn't run the ball much and so their offense was not nearly as dynamic.

Well, statements like that can be misleading, as you are quoting me, using my words and yet I dont believe the Rams offense is average, never said anything of the like. In fact, I dont correlate the 2, that the Rams scored 23 has nothing to do with what Arizona did last night. The Rams played a great offensive game and I was pleased.
But just because Im a Rams fan doesnt mean I cant give credit where it is due. Murray is only a 2nd year player for a team that won only 3 games 2 years ago. Wouldnt be a surprise to see any player implode in a situation like last night. But he didnt

It's just that a few board members have been stating our offense is below average this year and I disagree.

It's an above average offense that scores enough to win with our defense.

McVay, and rightly so with our defense playing their asses off, goes ultra conservative in the second half especially in the fourth quarter when we have a lead.

The games where we need to score points in the 4th quarter, we damn near came back and won. I hate to repeat myself a billion times but if not for dropped passes and one killer bad penalty, we win all 3 of those games imho.

I think his shoulder had a lot to do with him running less. No matter how great or exciting these running QBs are, they always get injured and their coaches try to turn them into pocket passers.

Any team picking one better make sure the running QB can also pull off being a pocket passer, a la Mahomes.

I agree with your disagreement! :beer2:
Winning by 10 or 20 doesnt matter. Would have liked to have put the Giants away a little earlier, but they did what they needed to do. (Ironically that was the only game Sloman didnt miss a kick)
Honestly I think there are some that are missing the point of the offense, its a bit of a new philosophy. Less of the hurry up and score, leaving the defense gassed, and attempting more ball/clock control to all the D to be at its best

Murray is just not very big, when a lineman tackles him you don’t know if he’s going to get up in one piece. It’s easier to have your body weight fall on him cuz he’s short. Shoulders and collarbones are problem areas for qbs but he usually only takes hits when he stays in the pocket.

The Rams hit him last year. I expect them to use the same strategy this year.
