His ability to follow the blocks and let plays develop is really good. His cuts are solid, his speed is awesome. I think Gibbs will have a better NFL career. But agree both need to be drafted to the right systems.

Speaking of Texas I watched quite a few of Bijan Robinson's games and the guy is impressive with his production but not necessarily his athleticism. No doubt he'll have a strong career, he can do everything. Tough runner too and all that which I personally love. But seeing him listed in the top ten in some mocks going back seems funny to me now that I've actually watched him.

I would think Gibbs will go off the board before him, just based on ability. Gibbs leaps off the film, you can feel his ability. Robinson to me looks more like a RB who has a chance to make it to us. Should be interesting to see how the RBs go off though, for sure.

Shitty pass blocking but that's typical. Also he actually puts his head in at least which means he's willing.

Oh and lastly he is very comfortable taking handoffs from the shotgun (from the side) which not every RB is. The guy is a perfect fit for this offense and what McVay wants. Looks like a Faulk type to me in a lot of ways, though I think Faulk had better vision at finding seams for the long runs.

I really like them bot, I just have concerns for different reasons though, they get compared due to similar size and speed
Their running styles are very different where Gibbs was schemed away from contact and Achane sent straight into it.

Both are undersized which leads me to have these concerns

Gibbs - Can we afford to draft a guy we will have to scheme around? Our blocking has been poor and putting a back with the 3rd lowest ypc after contact isn't the right fit unless he isn't used as a high-volume back.
I just don't feel we have the luxury to take this kind of chance after TA & Tutu and even if those 2 hadn't come around

Achane - Can he be a bell cow at the next level? I don't know but it is a long shot and history isn't on his side.
He isn't as dynamic as Gibbs even though he is faster. both can catch, and neither blocks very well in the passing game.

I had said before I was hoping Williams would bring a 4th rd Comp so maybe we could grab an RB there. I feel like the 3rd is early for us being our 2nd pick and the 5th is a bit late but who knows

Agreed, This draft is very deep at RB which benefits us. I was hoping for a 4th to increase the choices but the 5th may still do it.
The idea of reaching in the 2nd or 3rd with only the 2 picks in those rounds concerns me considering our more imminent needs at that value

Yeah dude there are 10 - 12 legit NFL prospects that you can argue are ready to play a lot right away.

No, he is just too small, he gets beat by stand-up blitzers which could be schemed when he is in that roll.
He is a pretty darn good run blocker surprisingly and as you see electric with the ball

Yeah, I went back and looked up his numbers, and he is only listed at 184 lbs. We would definitely need a much better OL to use him on anything more than obvious passing downs.

I hear ya except we have to take into mind that RBs can add more weight/muscle too. Not saying I'd go after RB as the first pick we use but that's who I'd go after if that were the focus.
