I like the Titan's powder blues and the new design looks fine, but I liked the white helmets more.

What ever happened to the K.I.S.S. principle?

Fine detail can't be seen from the stands. It just blurs everything into one blob. The numbers will be difficult to read. Even with big screen TVs simpler, bolder looks work best. I hope the Rams don't end up with a scrappy looking uniform like this.

This may be an attempt by Nike to create a jersey fans would like to wear, not one that looks good on TV or appropriate for football.

I still think they missed the mark, but I could see some marketing guy say "who cares how it looks on TV. We want consumers to buy them and wear them around. Make it look good for everyday wear."

That may be the intention, but it is bad marketing. If the players look good wearing the uniforms, the more will sell. And NFL fans tend to buy jerseys of their favorite players regardless.

This is the little-publicized rule changed that got buried with the new "catch" rule. Well at least they limited it to only 3 different uniforms per team per half!
