When the season started I had the feeling Reynolds wasn't 100% healthy. He wasn't getting targets...and some were even saying he should be traded as the rookie Jefferson was doing well.

Well...Reynolds has began to cook lately...against the Hags he got 8 catches for 94 yards against Seattle and Goff has certainly warmed up to him.

Not saying he's a game breaker...but he showed up big time Sunday. He's stronger than he looks and adds another headache to defenses who thought the only need worry about Woods, Kupp, and Higbee.

I'm with you. I really like Reynolds. He's WAY better than is apparent. Keep watching the rest of this season's games. He's a very good receiver. He plays tough.

Yeah he's doing great in his contract year. Too bad the Rams aren't going to sign him back with Van Jefferson waiting in the wings, IMHO.. I hope we ride him far into the playoffs this year.

He is okay but he is going against other teams #3 CB most of the time. He better get open. I just don’t like that he isn’t aggressive enough on 50 50 balls.

He does fine. But he is out of here after the season. He is getting reps that Van needs to be seeing. Jefferson has to get used to the speed of the game. He can't do that from the sidelines.

My take on JR is maybe people expect certain things from him based on his body type or what he did at A&M, when he really turned out to be another Kupp/Woods style clone in a slightly taller form. He reminds me a lot of Woods the way he quickly gets small and cuts upfield, etc. Maybe he's learning from them, emulating them, responding to the common coaching, etc.

He offers something none of our other WRs do, a TALL lanky WR, that has a big stride. I was opposed to drafting Jefferson, because we already had a good #3 guy in Reynolds. Too bad they won't keep him next year.

This

He lacks the 50 50 and tough catches. He's a really big WR but he doesn't play like one

the weird thing is that when they showed his college highlights he was always going up and getting the ball. he seems allergic to that now.

Exactly, he hasn't been able to translate that physical play that he exhibited in college. Which is not uncommon.
I expect him to have a decent season as our #3 WR and some team will come along and over pay him. He'll go to a suck ass team as a #1 or #2 WR and completely disappear. Sucks but that's the life of an average WR on a good team.
