I, ah, kinda agree with them. What have the Panthers shown so far besides not much. They need a gut check if they want to have a decent season.
Cam struggled against Tampa Bay. Is it too early to declare he's an overrated QB like Goff or nah? Because you know...a quarterback can't have an off game. Unless he's a Quarterback that you like of course. Second question, did Carolina look like the better team tonight still? Asking for a friend.
Cam was far from accurate throwing the ball tonight. Lots of pass sailing high and/or way off the mark. Not sure if it's the receivers making bad judgments in their route adjustments, but sure makes Cam look bad.Cam struggled against Tampa Bay. They popped up the graphic of 12% of teams that start 0-2 make the playoffs and I wonder if any of those 12% were two home losses. That's about the worst start imaginable especially with one of those losses division to the team most everybody thought would be the cellar dweller.
Fashion sense aside, which oh my Cam look at yourself before you leave the locker room or house, lets not forget that ROD favorite Chris Simms has Cam as a top 10 QB and Goff isn't.
It does concern me a bit how the Bucs D handled the kitties better than we did. I'll chalk it up to week one oddities.
Rivera's team is coached just like a Fisher coached team. They'll play tough against teams that should kick their asses... and they'll do this by ugly-ing up the game as much as possible (sometimes with dirty play of course). They're also poorly disciplined across the board. Then, against teams that they probably should be able to beat... they'll lose and look nothing like the team you saw play the previous week.
