Headline: "What's Up with Todd Gurley?"

Seriously...WTF?! He just had over 100 yards on 15 touches and 6.9 YPC and this is how the media treats him afterward. I guarantee they had this narrative written before the game even started.

Anyone who watched the game saw what he did to the Panthers defense once he and the O-line found their rhythm. He literally put the game away but all they're going to talk about is how he wasn't in there for 90% of the snaps, which is NOT normal for NFL running backs to begin with.

He also outperformed Zeke in every way against a much better defense but I can promise you they won't write an article asking what's wrong with Zeke. This shit has just gotten ridiculous at this point.

Gurley hates the media?

Read the article and see the transcript of his interview with them after the game. He was clearly frustrated with them. Kept being very short with his answers and repeatedly insinuated they needed to hurry up so he could leave. He's sick of it.

Then that is on him,. I am sick of everyone blaming the media for everything. Everyone. Not just the media have wondered about his knee and the Rams enhanced that inrigue.

Not everyone has worried about Gurleys knee. And most that have only worried because the media made a big deal out of nothing. Gurleys knee was fine for the playoffs last season, the OL was much more of an issue than Gurleys knee. Watch the dallas playoff game and tell me Gurleys knee affected his play. Remember 2016 when Gurley had nowhere to run and how the media blew that out of proportion and said he was just a flash in the pan? You may not want to blame the media, but anyone that has watched TG play knows the media made something out of nothing and they continue to do so.

BS. Gurley got little touches down the stretch including the SB. It is insane not to question his availability. Not to mention the Ram,s using a 3rd rounder on Henderson and matching Browns tender. It should be obvious even the Rams are concerned.

I love how he says most of gurley's carries were at the end of the game.

Like when the rams needed a score after the Panthers came within 3 points of them and again to ice the game.

Freaking clown.

What don't they understand about the rams wanting Gurley to be healthy when the playoffs come round?

Lol, did you write the article or something??

I understand having concerns before the game. But to act like there's something seriously wrong with him after a performance like that when the Rams have made it very obvious they don't want to run him into the ground like previous years is just asinine.

He had over 70% of the snaps in a game that looked like it was in the bag until the blocked punt. I don't see that as any cause for alarm but reporters will always make mountains out of molehills because it generates clicks.

I notice none of the mediots have the balls to challenge Gurley to a foot race. You know because his knee is obviously not right and his career is over.

People crack me up with their worries over something the media made up. Gurley has most likely had arthritis is his left knee since before he was drafted and it wasnt a problem in 2015 or 2017 but because he was held out of 2 games at the end of 2018 it must be a problem now, even though it wasnt in the dallas game or on the few runs he did rip off in the SB.

I'll get crushed for this opinion but after sitting watching these pats so loaded playing a team that can't make a first down. The RAMS must find a way to get bi Gaines much more playing time as In my watching him in preseason he looks like he just needs playing time as SJD was being held out due to a tight hamstring. Helping to stop the runs up the middle and maybe swap out Matthews after he's been in a while and bring in Obo or our other promising OLB Patrick who just needs Fowler on the other side and Aaron Donald inbetween them. AD seemed to wear down in the heat and playing every play seems to be too much for him. Last year as close games were finishing he would dig super deep and pull out that one pressure that would cause another player a free run or cause the TO himself. Like Warner making third down and anything from anywhere. We must face the patriots again even though they only play 4 teams in what should be a first place schedule. Playing in AFC East & the dolphins, bills, jets 6 games & barely anyone else. Maybe the Chiefs who still lack a defense. We must use all of our RB's and Malcolm Brown as much as possible to save Todd Gurley for the pats. Wear out Kelly & Henderson if need be. We have 3 great recievers and at least one tight end can get open but do not throw the ball to Natson or that effortless fake that refuses to try & give his all on a team that should have kept one of two other locks at WR to keep last years Kupp replacement that has no heart for this team. We must hit brady & hit him super hard. Let Phillips plan to stop Edelman now. Find the DB who can take him out. The pats have a few small holes we must exploit. AB & gronk probably coming back & Dorsett.White & Berkhead all RB's catching passes can be stopped as we start passing decent balls to our own Henderson who can go the didtance if given the ball in space. . We just need to cut Josh Reynolds #83 out of Texas A&M and cut loose on our own Mike Thomas who had a great pre-season & is the same size as Reynolds but has not shown such timidity. Don't remember seeing DT Tanzel Smart in the lineup today to help with stopping the run. We have that slippery RB to shut down next week & Stopping that #15 WR that Brees always throws deep too. Mike Thomas? Can't let him beat us & #22 getting beat by any double move. Hope Captain Weddle is back next week to coach our DB's and maybe get our Michigan rookie some top experience on a who dat WR. WE have the depth to go all the way if we practice like the pats are playing. LET's GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gurley has a knee issue.

Nothing wrong with him being asked about it.

I feel like some Rams fans are still in deniable about this. A fully healthy Gurley would've touched the ball more than 16 times in the biggest two games of the year last year. At the very least, there is concern that if they use him too much, his knee will be problematic. He was on the field less than normal today and he touched the ball less than normal. He still looked very good, but it doesn't seem like he'll be a workhorse back anymore. Henderson and Brown will be huge this year. In game 1, Brown was great. Need to keep that going.

The guy is a spectacular pass protector; just does not beat.

Might be the best pass protecting feature back in the league.
