The only important thing about Bradford is that he made it through preseason without a crippling injury. Shortly after 7 on Monday, September 14 he will take his first snap of the season - and the Rams' 3rd round pick will be safe. And I think all of us, no matter how else we feel about Sam, agree that is a good thing for the Rams.

Man what would've happened for both Sam's and Tavon's careers if Jake Long hadn't been called for tripping? The game would've change and that injury might not occur.

Cool video. I am rooting for the kid and hope he lights it up in Philadelphia. I will be disappointed, however, if he takes a shot at the Rams and St Louis after he has success in Philadelphia. And if he is great in Philly, it will just be another validation point for all the Fisher/Snead haters.

Give me the story.

Orlando Pace going through college and creating the name "pancake block." Then he is drafted by the St. Louis Rams number one overall when they trade up to get him. Grateful for what they saw in him, he dons the "76" and begins playing for the greatest team in the world. He struggles at first through two miserable seasons before becoming the unsung hero of the Greatest Show on Turf, the one who protected Kurt Warner's blind side and gave Marshall Faulk room to run. Emboldened by the win of a Super Bowl, he goes into the 2001-2002 season ready to capture another...before the evil Patriots steal it from them. Thus ending the dynasty in the making, Pace does his best to go through hell on earth, but eventually becomes injured in 2006 and retires, showing how cruel the NFL can be. The bright spot? The NFL recognizes Pace's extraordinary career and nominates him to the Hall of Fame...in 2016.

Have to say Foles has looked pretty damn good the past 2 pre-season games too. Hopefully this is a trade that benefits each side.

Have to say I miss him....and I hope he lights it up dude deserves some NFL success for an entire season and he's in the best position to utilize his skills. Always enjoyed hoe humble he was and I'll always remember him losing that bet to DX and wearing MU colors.

Ahhhh what could have been with a healthy Sam and a healthy DX who has still been the most talented WR we've had on roster since Holt and Bruce left.

I've always been and still am a Bradford fan going back to his days in OU. When healthy he's showed that he has the skills to be a top tier QB in this league, key being "when healthy". If it wasn't for bad luck he'd have no luck. Such a great character guy that young ball players should try and emulate. If he can somehow play 16 games this season I think the Eagles win the East. I hope he does well in Philly. I'm pretty confident that if his knee holds up, he will. It's the most interesting question in the NFL right now in my mind. Was it the player, or the team? He looked pretty comfortable in preseason. When you look that comfortable, it bodes well. People say it's only pre-season, but of course they don't say that when someone from their own teams have a great preseason. I'd love for the Rams to beat him in the NFC champ game. Kelly's offense, Fisher's defense, two QBs rejected by their teams. It'd be awesome drama. Overshadow the SB in my mind.

As much as I like Bradford, I am dreading the thought that he might light it up in Philly. Kinda hoping he is only mediocre there.

But yeah - well done video.
If he does well, he does well. Can't unring that bell.
We just couldn't take the chance that Bradford's knee would swell if he fell.
If our O-line can just jell, then Foles will give'm hell and do well.

Sam was supposedly a huge reason why Fisher came to the Rams, but then Fish muted Sam's performance with an offense that didn't play to his strengths. Yes, I know during one season Schotty tried to run a faster paced spread type offense, but Fish squashed the experiment early on. And why was the experiment such a failure? The entire debacle continues to irk me. And now we get to watch Sam light it up in Philly. When that happens, what excuse are we going to use?

Just go back to the play before the injury. Sam hit the wr, I think quick, for a 1st down but he dropped it making it 3rd and long. Should never have happened.

I don't wish any ill will on Bradford, but I do find I'm not rooting for him any more than some of my other favorite players around the league who aren't Rams.

Freaking awesome video, though.

He does throw a pretty sweet ball, I have to agree with @Stranger - Sam was the reason Fisher came here, but he never seemed to play to his strengths, he was amazing in a no-huddle style fast paced offence, but Fisher didn't seem to like that at all, which is a shame, we never saw the best of Sam in horns, which is a shame - He's going to play lights out this year, I wish him well...

Not watching it. Ever. I will watch Foles highlights because he is our quarterback now, and Bradford...isn't.
Yeah. I don't understand the Bradford slob-fest here. Y'all need to move on.
