What i saw last night was an undisciplined dline. Guys not staying in their lanes. We have played Russell for a long time and you know you need to slow rush him and they weren't. We got a ton of pressure but to no avail.
Same with the secondary, no discipline. And I think what's happening is these guys buy into their own hype and aren't consistent. Theres too much talent

Exactly what I kept saying all night . They played right into Wilson's game . Flying up the field with no disiplne and Donald may have been the worst at it . At least once a game Peter's gets beat down the middle for an easy TD . Where's the safety help ? There's nobody in sight once they break to the post . Usually good teams make adjustments. This defense reminds me of the 2000 team for you guys old enough to remember that had to win in a shootout . Get it fixed guys

Yeah, I think that's a good take. We've done better against Wilson in the past, containing him pretty well in some games so he doesn't hurt us with his feet. Not so much last night, and it allowed him to extend plays and our coverage broke down on a number of those.

Yeah and we have to remember hes at his best when hes playing backyard foodball. Its definitely something we need to clean up

The defense seems one DL and a complementary LB short of complete. I also can’t stand watching Peters try to tackle or blow coverage so that needs to be fixed for next season.

I think the DL is fine, and the real issue on this defense is the secondary.

Corner play has been noting to be proud of this year.

I do parking enforcement around campus on Friday’s since it’s a slow day where I’m done by noon, and I can get some extra cash (plus makes the drive into work worth it).... No mercy for anyone with Seahawks shit on their car, and there’s a lot of em. That’s how I’ve been coping.

Our Rams sitting at 3-2, downtrodden and third in the division. Talking heads smugly writing us off.

Fans wailing about run snap counts, throwing out Martz comparisons, calling for Wade's head, we need a new kicker, our OL sucks, etc., etc., etc.

Season over is the theme, Super Bowl hangover, Rams aren't the same team, and so forth and so on.

I hear you loud and clear @Merlin

No freaking way am I betting against this guy to hoist the Lombardi in Miami.

That and the "Gurley attitude" observations due to scheme, touches, press conferences, etc. Dude is one hell of a good teammate.

good take here

dont put a lot of stock in body language posts

great teammate, great player

and Goff has been better in each game

For all of the talk about the offense is not what it was, Gurley is not who he was, Goff is not very good....Your Los Angeles Rams lead the league in total offensive yards and points. Jared Goff leads the league in passing yards, Cooper Kupp is THE BEST WR in the NFL leading the league in yards and TDs and they average 29.2 points a game. To hell with the media....HORNSUP! Bring on the 9ers!

Offense: Need to cut down on the turnovers and do a little better in the red zone. If both of those improve - I don't think we will have too many complaints towards the offense. I think McVay is starting to adjust this years offense from last years (unleashing Everett, finding a balance for utilizing Gurley, beating the 6-1 defenses, etc.).

Defense: The defense needs another hungry hippo on the DL - perhaps Gaines steps up. I take no pleasure in making this statement - but if the Rams can trade Peters and a #1/#2 for Ramsey they should do it. Peters is on roller skates out there and its infuriating. He's a grown a$$ man out there playing like a flag footballer. When is the last time he put his body into a tackle? He looks like a little pu$$ out there trying to arm tackle or run away from anything coming his way. He has to go at the end of this year if he cannot be traded before the deadline.

Special Teams: JH/GZ looks a little off so far but they are elite and can turn it around. I cant say I am always comfortable with Natson out there but I give him kudos for giving it 110%. Littleton almost blocked a punt - someone else needs to contribute.

Sure would be nice for the press to inquire as to Long's development.

Natson needs to let the ball go into the end zone. and on the one they downed inside the 5 it hit the ground outside the 10 and for some reason he didn't catch it. Im sorry but I think he sucks. Most important part is decision making and he sucks at it. Cut him, he has been costing us field position in every game.
