Vikings and Cowboys too.Off the top of my head only the Steelers would be close.

Regarding the Steelers (@dang), Vikings and Cowboys, are we talking those Teams' best four D-Linemen of all-time; or have we changed it to the best D-Line that played together, at one time?Vikings and Cowboys too.
BLASPHEMY!Unfortunately, the best I have seen was the Steelers .. Mean Joe Greene, L.C. Greenwood, Ernie Holmes and Dwight White.
I don't think there can be any challenges on-the-horizon, as no current team really plays a traditional four-man Defensive Line throughout a game, anymore.
Off topic a bit but the 1976 Steelers' Defense had the most amazing run I ever saw.BLASPHEMY!

The two-time defending Super Bowl Champion Steelers got off to a 1-4 start. Back then, it was a 14-game season; and there was just one Wild Card Team in each Conference. Starting 1-4, pretty much meant a team was NOT going to the playoffs.
The Steelers won their final nine games, and made the playoffs, losing to Oakland in the AFC Championship.
In those final 9 games, the Steelers held their opponents to 28 points ... 28!!! That's three points a game for nine straight games! That's not possible!!! The Steelers gave up just two touchdowns, and had five shut-outs! Only one team scored more than six points. Again, that is simply NOT Possible.
UGH! I really don't have time for this. Please pay attention.Chuck Knoll LOVER!
Cowboys, I would go all time so I could put Randy White and Bob Lilly together.Regarding the Steelers (@dang), Vikings and Cowboys, are we talking those Teams' best four D-Linemen of all-time; or have we changed it to the best D-Line that played together, at one time?
Same difference!UGH! I really don't have time for this. Please pay attention.
This is a Knoll ...
And, this is a Noll ...
Our HOFers are better than THEIR HOFers!Cowboys, I would go all time so I could put Randy White and Bob Lilly together.
Vikings, you could go either way. All time you have your pick of swapping in John Randle, Chris Doleman, Kevin Williams or Jared Allen to the already elite Purple People Eaters.
Yes, I would take a starting four of Jones, Donald, Olsen and Youngblood over anybody. There was more to them than just sacks, of course. But they have a combined 505 sacks(and counting) while they were with the Rams. Which, I do believe, if you took the top four all time sack leaders for every franchise and combined them similarly....the Rams would be no 1.Our HOFers are better than THEIR HOFers!
