I know there's been a lot of talk about our defense but I think that will get worked out. But aside from that, the stars seem to be lining up for the Rams.

The NFC contenders have had slow starts.

Vikings 2-2-1
Packers 2-2-1
Eagles 2-3

New Orleans is 3-1 but they play Washington tonight, followed by the Ravens, Vikings, Rams, Bengals and Eagles. After that they have 2 games against Carolina.

A #1 seed looks very attainable for the Rams.

Last season most everyone was pushing for winning the division. This year, screw that. Rams need the #1 Seed and nothing, I repeat NOTHING else matters!

Barring epic injuries we essentially have very nearly won the division with the victory in Seattle. Hawks are three games down and not likely catching us. Different story if we lost, one game lead. It was a hugely consequential win for the Rams to defend their hold on the NFC West.

Just to add, at the moment it's like a 4 game lead over the Hawks, if you throw in the tie-breaker...

I don't see it as a 4 game lead only because we have another game against them. By the time this season comes to an end it will probably be a 7 game lead lol

The stars are lining up?

You must not have read the, "Rams defense" thread on this site.

Home field advantage is definitely a goal.

Not because our homefield is such an advantage but because we don't want to go places with big homefield gains.

New Orleans was 7-1 last year at home (like 41 and 20 or something at home over the last 8 ish years)

Rodgers went like 5 years without losing a game at home..

and so on and son.

So lets get that home field ad...

Don’t want the Rams to have to play in a dome in the playoffs (Minnesota, New Orleans) because of the noise factor. Or go to the East Coast because of the time change, or Philly because of rabid fans, or GB Detroit or Chicago because of the weather... so...

We can win road games but better to finish first in the conference. Would like to see what atmosphere true LA pro football fans can bring to the Colosseum.
