With the recent allegations involving Puka, whether they’re ultimately proven or not, does this start to factor into how the Rams evaluate long-term risk?

One thing that’s been consistent under McVay and this front office is the emphasis on culture. They’ve clearly valued players who fit that mold both on and off the field.

Not saying this changes anything immediately, Puka is obviously a cornerstone talent, but these types of stories can impact perception, especially with a major contract decision eventually coming.

At what point, if any, do the Rams weigh elite production vs. long-term culture and optics?

Worst case scenario for Nacua being a cannibalistic psychopath coke head:

Rams hold off on extension, draft his replacement at #13, trade him to the Browns for two 1st rd picks and in the end…we got insane production from a 5th rd pick for three years.

He is innocent until proven guilty. I have a gut feeling this accusation didn't come out of the stars, and Puka's agent even admitted to one of the bites.

Question, if that was your sister or female friend who made the accusation would you dismiss it out of hand?
But it isn't my sister or friend, it's someone I know nothing about.

The me-too movement was important, but it also brought about a lot of false accusations from people looking for a payday.

I know someone who spent over $100k paying professionals to defend an accusation that was fully recanted after a thorough investigation of phone records.

This shows no breakage of skin as the accuser stated. But maybe she was talking about the thumb, but why is there no picture of the thumb?
I once had a girl at a party who was rocking DMT in her system take a huge bite out of my arm just like that. I had turned her down months before so there was always a tiny air of animosity but, also, she may have legit thought I was a piece of fruit.

The bruise over the next two weeks honestly looked worse than the bite marks that night.

I agree it was probably horseplay but damn if it didn't hurt to leave marks like she's showing.

Looks like the jaws went 180 degrees like a snake.

It looks really inconsistent with how a bite mark should look.

The front top teeth make an impression of the BACK of the teeth?

In what universe? The skin area bitten isn’t deep enough or thick enough for him to bite down enough to leave that kind of impression unless she’s thicker than a milkshake. He’d have had to bite deep into the skin, breaking not just skin, but deep enough to need serious medical attention. I know because many years ago, my sister bit her boyfriend after she found his porn stash. I had to rush over there when he called me in a panic and saw the bite mark…I‘ll never forget it.

Also, the arc of the teeth is too narrow. Just because he doesn’t use all of his teeth to bite doesn’t mean his jaw is as narrow as a toddler’s which can be inferred by his tooth width which we can see from umpteen pictures we’ve seen of him smiling.

Couple that with a corroborative witness saying he never said anything anti-Semitic and her continuing to go out with him and this all looks like bullshit.

I find subsequent allegations being released that are not in the legal filings to be particularly troubling. As serious as those are, if they were true, they’d be material and no way in hell would they be excluded from any litigation or not used for a possible settlement.

That said, Puka has to wise the fuck up and get better people around him. Maybe take a call from Trevor Bauer about how being trusting can cost you $100 million
