I am shocked. It has been years since I’ve watched a ProBowl game, so I thought I would check it out. Wow, when did this game turn into a touch football game? This is so unserious, it’s no wonder the attendance is so bad. Useless to watch...was there a rule change or conscious decision to walk through instead of running at full speed?
The running plays look like slow motion. Yech

It’s the same as the NHL, which they just did. It’s basically no-touch, no D hockey. Goalies mean nothing. They might as well just play empty net hockey. A joke. Baseball is the closest to 100% of all the all star games.

Suggestions:

1. Put the game back to being the week after the super bowl.

2. Move it back to Hawaii.

3. NFL to provide huge player injury insurance policy, in event of extended injuries. Isn't this the reason they don't play hard? Not fear of injury, but rather the "money" they'll lose from an injury.

4. High Draft compensation to any team that loses a player to significant injury in the Pro Bowl.

Now people will watch, and the NFL will make their money!

I don't think there's really any suggestion that would make the players want to play harder. Nor should they, it's a meaningless game.

More of an emphasis on the little minigames they do would probably be about it, just something light and fun that feels like a reward with minimal risk of injury.

I used to watch the pro bowl when the players actually played in it with pride and effort. Ever since it became a game of grab ass, I lost interest. I would still turn it on to see the horns on some helmets but.... yawn.

Put it back to after the super bowl and put some more emphasis on the game. It can be a game worth watching again. Now it is a must miss.

I recorded a show on BBC about Chimpanzees and watched it instead, I believe it was a lot more entertaining than the ‍‍pro bowl.

Didn't watch it but some things I saw around the web....

I guess he hasn't learned

Witten pulls a "Steven A. Smith"

This sums up the Pro Bowl and Witten nicely

I do

What a weird game. It seems like there was a year where the All-Stars won...maybe why they don’t play it anymore?

They could make it where the winners conference automatically wins the toss for the next Super Bowl.

That way, players may actually want to win because winning the toss is a slight advantage worth having.

Yeah they need to make it a flag football game and put more focus on skills competition get creative with it. The skills competition should have a fan side too where they compete and maybe have them go head to head with the players at the end for a good laugh.

Make it flag football or stop playing it.
Zero effort anymore.
