Now just remember, Wade doesn't use a run stuffing fat man NT in his 3-4 defense. We'd all like to add one of them but it's just not the way he operates. He wants 3 guys up there to get after the QB so we might want to get used to that while he's our DC. A run defending ILB though is something he'll use.
What Wade needs is guys who can fill their lane, both at ILB and on the nose. Being washed down and out or blown back off the ball isn't good in this defense, and it happens too much and along with ILB is why we're one of the worst run defenses up the gut.
We do, in the end, need NT help. It's a key area the Rams can get much better this next offseason, not to mention Suh will move on in FA. Oh and this draft is something else on the DL too btw.
We may feel that the Rams need things. What we think is irrelevant! It matters what Wade wants and what Wade will use or convince Snead to get for him. That's my point I don't disagree with anything you said. What I'm saying is your opinion and mine are completely irrelevant when you factor in the way our DC wants to run his defense. But will one of those DL be there at 32?
I don't know but if not I would pray that there's a FS or a CB.

After Rams (supposedly) mortgaged their future in 2016 and got fleeced by the Titans, they were stuck without a 1st rounder in 2017 and had to settle for a draft that included Everett, Kupp, JJ, Reynolds, and Ebukam. Wow.
