Not yet, we haven't. He's shown flashes. But being good enough isn't just playing well...it's showing the ability to be great AND stay on the field.

Well again, no QB stays on the field when you're behind a bad offensive line for the vast majority of your career. The point of my point was that we've seen the ability, but the organization didn't do enough to protect their guy.

I'm done. I said Bradford would get injured. God Dammit! I'm only right when it's about Bad things. I am Pissed off, so I'm going to sit in the middle of the floor and cry now...

I honestly believe in the Warner curse. Ever since the Rams kicked him out, luck has hated the Rams.

Kurt and Brenda in real tight with the man upstairs.

It's an excuse. His body just doesn't seem like it is holding up. The injury this year and last year wasn't the OL. It was just rotten luck. But you can't keep putting faith in the guy to stay healthy and keep getting burned. Some guys just don't stay healthy for whatever reason...Sean Lee is a good example.

One's an excuse, but the other's luck? I agree that his knee injury has been bad luck. Having a bad offensive line is hardly an excuse though....if that's the case, having a great offensive line is an excuse for Tom Brady being great. It works both ways. Viable reasons aren't always excuses...

It's an excuse because the OL isn't to blame.

2011 was an anomaly of an injury and I think 2013 was as well. I don't think this one is however.

I feel for Bradford, but the facts are facts. He has officially become a huge bust. Time to move on. Start Gilbert and see what he can do. I know what Hill and Davis can do, and it's not much. Worst case scenario, we end up with a losing record and get Mariota. Best case, Gilbert shows up big and we find a diamond in the rough. Either way, I want to see what this kid can do. It's already a lost season no matter what our defense, running game, and receivers do.

And also, I don't regret the Robinson pick over Bortles. Robinson still has Willie Roaf potential, and I believe that he has the mindset to harness it.

Hes such a baby he barely got hit if it was an ugly hit id have some sympathy but no he gets nugged and falls over like a little bitch. I'm done with his crap and so should everyone else.

Dude its bad luck. He didn't want to get hurt did he? How can you blame the guy for it?

You can post anything in this thread without fear of getting banned. But we would appreciate it if you would confine your venting here and not let it spill over to the other threads. There are a lot of pissed off Rams fans today and you need to get that anger, mourning and hopelessness out of your system in a safe place without a lecture or a reprimand. I'll get things rolling....

Edit: Forgot to add that there will be no venting at fellow members.
Well this will make my girlfriend happy, wont be watching much football. Look on the bright side we'll have a high first round pick next year.

We'll agree to disagree. The Oline was definitely to blame in 2011. And last night, Jake Long's lack of pass protection got his QB hit twice on the opening drive; one being the season-ending injury....if Jake Long sticks his man, we're not having this discussion.

Same things I heard when green went down.

2011 is different story. But the ankle isn't an issue. Jake Long sticking his man doesn't make a difference imo. Eventually, Bradford would have been hit. The hit he was injured on was nothing.

I'm there for the Rams through thick and thin but I'm really getting tired of thin.

I'm also done with whining about it.

I don't agree it was nothing. It was awkward. I'm willing to bet that if he just would have been blasted instead of awkwardly fallen on, then there's no issue right now. But it's probable (not possible) that he would have taken a hit similar to that at some point in the season anyway, so. Whatever.

That's what I'm saying. I don't mean nothing in the literal sense, I just mean it wasn't something that looked bad. He likely would have had it happen multiple times this year if it hadn't happened in that game. It was just bad luck. But at some point, the bad luck begins to add up and you question if a guy has the body to withstand it.

Bradford played on bad Rams teams and has taken a lot of punishment. Now that there is talent, he's not the same physically. This shouldn't surprise anyone. Sad that he got hurt and can't enjoy the new found talent around him.
Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I'm done.

Reading through all of these venting posts has lightened my mood a bit......some good stuff!
