I'm sorry my brother :/Arsenal fan here....
Always let down
Very true but they and their fans are getting that bridesmaid syndrome going. Always in the competition but never winning the EPL. And now our manager made some roster decisions for the Champions League that resulted in us getting knocked out in the 1st round. You're very right Arsenal, to borrow an NFL analogy, always make the playoffs but rarely make a show in the playoffs. Just good enough to not disappoint but not good enough to win it all.Haven't Arsenal won the FA Cup 2 years in a row? Try being a fan of a team outside of the top 4-6 my friend, then you'll know about truly being let down by a football team.
Edit: Not ragging on you btw, just Arsenal are one of the most successful teams in the history of English football
While that may be true, even being in the Champions League is an achievement in itself. An achievement that most clubs have never had, and aren't ever likely to experience. Only one team out of hundreds of hopefuls can win the champions league each year, each one of them successful to varying levels in their respective domestic leagues, Arsenal being one of them. This being why Arsenal's lack of champions league success shouldn't be considered a big deal as far as i'm concerned.Very true but they and their fans are getting that bridesmaid syndrome going. West Ham fans I didn't get to watch the game today and one of my favorite players Yedlin started for Sunderland. How did he look?
I was in the pub watching it, and well to be honest I never really noticed him. Sorry!.
Haha it's cool. I'm sure he was better than United playing two midfielders at back today smh...
Can't wait to get home and watch the Sunday matches I recorded. Looks like Alexi is willing to be the goal scorer Arsenal needs.
