Anyone going to WC game?
I have tried for tix through the FIFA Lottery /pre-sale and nothing.
I have 3 of us trying

Just booked up for the world cup. Doubt we will actually get game tickets, and its costing a fucking fortune, but I couldn't not go. My wife is a saint for letting me go given that my son will be 7 months old in June!

Scotland will play in either Boston or NYC. I have been to each city twice in the past and we have decided to book up for Boston. If the Scotland game ends up in NYC and we are lucky enough to get tickets then we will hire a car or take the amtrak down.

Can't. Fucking. Wait.

Scotland will play in Boston, so our gamble paid off. Already impossible to get flights and accommodation so we had to get sorted before we knew for sure where we would be.

What a terrible boxing day! One lousy game? I blame their tv partners wanting games on the weekend instead of Friday.

I went to Dagenham and Redbridge vs Hornchurch today Olders. Plenty of football going on just no Premier League (bar one). West Ham are unable to play at home on Boxing Day anymore due to the sales at the westfield shopping centre. Just let that sink in.

Yeah the Championship is on Paramount+ so I got a few games in today.
 
Outside looking in at West Ham there have been players sold but the players brought back in haven't grown enough or been enough to maintain the club.
 
It’s run abysmally and what you say is true. There are other factors as well. When it comes to football here there is a complete monopoly anyway. I support a team that literally has no chance of winning, don’t get me wrong they should be better but winning the league will never happen. Strange why you get so invested really.

Currently in the UK, have seen two games thus far … Merthyr Town v Curzon Ashton , Nottingham Forest v Man City - thought Forest were very unlucky not to get something out of the match , goal by Hutchinson was down our Trent End , we went nuts! Great to see a goal and had a great time despite the result. Our next game is Forest v Everton tomorrow. Hopefully we can play like we did on the 27th. Will be seeing Motherwell on Saturday at Fir Park. Can’t wait. NFL coverage is surprisingly good here in the UK better than Australia and is at a better time zone.
