Full list as of Monday--with my comments on a couple of them.

Right now, I'm extremely excited about this UDFA group! I think at least three of them will make the final team roster--53-man roster: Dolac, Lampkins, and one other--maybe Terry or Norton. About 3-5 others should end up on the Practice Squad, so yes, I'm saying up to eight of these guys could "make the team."

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Los Angeles Rams on Monday agreed to terms with 17 undrafted free agents.

Those players are:

  • Utah State OL Wyatt Bowles
    • 6-5; 300
    • Seems to have a great attitude
    • Before the draft, he said he wanted to be one of the 2% who make it.
    • He was rated #23 Aggie for 2025 before the season started, so a late bloomer
    • Radio chat on him:
      View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1T9Ewf7D8o
  • Connecticut S Malik Dixon-Williams
  • Buffalo ILB Shaun Dolac
    • This guy will make the team!
    • Small but fast and great athlete--incredible body control
    • 6-2 and 220
    • A tackling machine who makes some of the most amazing interceptions you'll ever see--astounding for a linebacker

    • View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4qNnINe_L4
    • I think he can start down the road
  • Boise State OL Ben Dooley
  • Louisiana Tech WR Tru Edwards
  • North Carolina OL Willie Lampkin
This guy has a great chance to make the team!
He's a great player who was ignored due to his small size and mediocre testing
I think he can start at C down the road--maybe even guard
Had a great Senior Bowl week
  • USC OLB Jamil Muhammad
    • Great junior year
    • Terrible senior year
    • Both body type and play style seem like the Rams' 3rd-round pick, Josaiah Stewart
    • 6-1, 260
    • This guy has a chance, but why did he have only one sack last year?
    • "Jamil Muhammad played in all 26 USC games the past two season. He racked up 73 total tackles and 7.5 sacks. Muhhmanad played more defensive end end in 2024 compared to linebacker in 2023. Numbers wise, Muhammad had a drop off in this season. He was tied for 11th on the Trojans defense in total combined tackles, and only ended top with one sack on the year. In 2023, he finished seventh on the team in total tackles with 46 and led the team in sacks with 6.5. "
  • University of Texas DL Bill Norton
    • Huge: 6-6 and 335
    • He definitely has a chance to make it. In his case, maybe he needs to slim down to be more mobile
    • I read that he's a penetrating lineman, but he only had one sack in his career
    • "After the 2023 college football season, Norton transferred to the Texas Longhorns. The 6-foot-6, 335-pound defensive lineman recorded 14 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble for the Longhorns this season. Norton had just one sack in his college career, but he recorded it in the College Football Playoff."
    • Seems to be a huge body that can stuff the middle at nose tackle
    • Originally played at Georgia
    • Georgia head coach Kirby Smart raved about him
    • "What a great kid man, this guy worked his tail off here and worked really hard," Smart said. "One of his key roles was with special teams, he played on our field goal protection unit and was the best at doing it."
  • Rice OLB Josh Pearcy
  • Oklahoma State WR Brennan Presley
  • Louisville TE Mark Redman
    • 6-5, 255
    • Been a starter for at least three year
    • He's a huge guy known for his blocking but can catch the ball
    • I could see him making the team--vanilla, but a much cheaper Parkinson
    • 24 catches for 256 yards and 3 TDs

    • View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb5VcA1ZLLw
  • Oklahoma DL Da'Jon Terry
    • 6-3, 330
    • This guy could make the team!
    • He's huge and has nice agility--very good lateral movement, too
    • Rams seem to be going very big on the DL--wise after they got pushed around in the trenches last season
    • #95 on the video below

    • View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_Y7pn34bDs
  • Toledo TE Anthony Torres
  • Northern Illinois S Nate Valcarcel
    • 6-1, 192
    • Couldn't find much on him
  • NC State RB Jordan Waters
  • Indiana OL Trey Wedig
  • Tulane WR Mario Williams

Any suggestions?
I agree.

Would love for the Rams to sign an "Insurance LT". Even if it's costly.

Left Tackle is the only position where I do not see a back-up / contingency plan.

The problem is ... as you suggest ... Who? There is so little out there.

I have previously mentioned Jedrick Wills but I can still see him getting an opportunity elsewhere to start.
If not, I think a one-year-deal for $4-$6M would be worthwhile. However, that may not be enough $.

That's the hard bit.
Humphries was probably the best of the bunch, although I was never a huge fan of his, he signed with the Whiners I think.
Wills....Fant.....Okorafor?
Not a lot out there.
But, the idea would be for a guy who can fill in for a few weeks and stay in front of a pass rush.
As much as I have pulled for Acuri he was not able to do that in limited duty.

Whose you contingency at RT? I am worried but trust us to sign someone once teams start to cut veterans

Leveston was playing LT last year in camp prior to the injury. He held up well at Kansas State and I want to see more of him. Agree on Arcuri, he showcased nothing last year when given the chance and maybe @Allen2McVay is on to something with Jedrick Wills as a possible signing.

Here are some interesting numbers that I haven’t seen reported yet:

Shaun Dolic ILB received a 25k signing bonus fully guaranteed
Trey Wedig OT received a 20k signing bonus fully guaranteed
We all love Dolac and hope he kicks Reeder to the curb, however, Wedig needs to get stronger, only 17 Reps on the bench press, but seem to hold up well for Indiana in pass protection was blocking Jack Sawyer against Ohio State.

Scouting Report: Summary

A developmental tackle prospect with the frame and functional movement skills coveted at the next level. Shows natural pass protection traits with smooth kickslide and good mirror ability. Upper body strength and leverage allow him to generate movement in the run game when technique is sound.

The tape reveals a tackle who excels in traditional pass sets but needs technical refinement in the run game. Despite plus physical tools, inconsistent hand placement and finishing ability limit his current effectiveness. Three-position experience adds roster value while he develops.

Scheme versatility exists for both gap and zone systems, though his movement skills suggest higher upside in a zone-heavy offense. Day three prospect who could develop into a swing tackle with proper coaching and physical maturation.

He had a good year in pass protection. He rated around the same as Will Campbell, who went top 5, and Josh Conerly Jr. He was also the 7th ranked OT in the run game, out ranking both.

If he can become a solid swing tackle that would be huge

Looking at these figures, even while taking them with a pinch of salt, the Rams might have struck gold again.

Side note. Who drafted Wyatt Milum, I can’t recall? He topped both charts!

I have typed Omarion Hampton highlights into my browser, and just locked-in on Willie Lampkin, #53 at RG.

It's impressive.
Can you imagine him playing fullback it would be like having an extra guard out there! Or him picking up the blitzer to give Stafford plenty of time. All that and he can play both guard spots and centre if you need him to. Love this kid. Champion wrestler, gets to the second level with ease; great in space and on the move, strong and has natural leverage. Love the Ricard comp. I took him late in all my mocks

Respect your opinion .... what I don't get is how fits in the system. Both McVay and Snead, 2 or 3 off seasons ago, said they were going to build a WALL for Stafford so that he would not face any more interior pressure. They signed K Dotson and drafted S Avila. The Center is average size, but the plan worked. They also changed up the running scheme to accommodate it. How a 5'11", 280 lbs Interior lineman fits that scheme I do not know.

He’s going to be our Lorenzo Neal. But bigger and slower lol. Neal was an all American wrestler in college too. Bad dude.
