His clutch performance in the fourth quarter of the AFC Championship, with a pair of touchdown catches, likely was a factor. His 152 yards in Super Bowl LII likely influenced the decision as well.

Consider this: Amendola had 659 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 15 regular-season games in 2017. He had 348 receiving yards and two touchdowns in only three postseason games.

Danny A had a nice playoff and SB run. IDK about going to the Fins. Nice deal at 6 Mil a year for 2 years. Enjoyed watching him as a Ram. Never really became more than a short yardage catcher with very good hands and short area quickness.

Well considering if the report is accurate that Suh is looking to be on a winner, we may actually be the front runner for him.

I used to think it was a long shot, but now, my gut is telling me we’re the favorite and stand a better than even chance.

Why? Agents know a team’s cap situation and know the Rams can’t remotely offer the most money. So, if that was the goal, he wouldn’t come and we wouldn’t invite him. Also, money was never brought up in NO or Tennessee. Which gives credence to the report that Suh is focused on winning.

We’ll see, but I have a strong feeling after he makes his rounds, finishing at Seattle, that we sign him.

The thing about suh is he is taking a pay cut to win and if he lines up next to AD, those 2 factors may just get the 2 best years of football outta him.

Mike Pouncey - C - Chargers
Chargers signed C Mike Pouncey to a two-year, $15 million contract.

In large part due to a lingering hip injury, Pouncey's effectiveness waned in 2017 with the Dolphins, but he is still only 28 years old and should be recovered now. Pouncey has stated he will eventually need a hip replacement. The Chargers' offensive line is shaping up, from left to right, as LT Russell Okung > LG Dan Feeney > C Pouney > RG Forrest Lamp > RT Joe Barskdale. If the unit stays healthy, this line has a chance to be a top-ten group.

Sam Bradford - QB - Cardinals
Sam Bradford's deal with the Cardinals is actually worth $40 million over two years.

The contract was reported to be for one year, and it sort of is because Bradford is due a $7.5 million option bonus next offseason, which if paid would net him $20 million for 2019. Either way, Bradford is going to be on the Cardinals' 2019 books because the team gave him a $10 million signing bonus which prorates over the next two seasons. $15 million of the $40 million deal is guaranteed. It's a staggering sum for a player with Bradford's injury history.

man, the rams hit the jackpot with robert woods. have a look at this.

Donte Moncrief - WR - Jaguars
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Donte Moncrief's one-year, $9.6 million contract with the Jaguars is fully guaranteed.

It is an impressive chunk of change for a player who has managed just 56 catches for 698 yards over 21 games the last two years. He will not be 25 until August, however, and has an impressive skill set. Jacksonville is clearly betting on Moncrief reaching his potential this season. Reading into contract information can be a bad idea, but this deal suggests the Jaguars plan for Moncrief to start.

Can't see that ending badly. Chargers sign a guy with known injury issues to his hips to play on their OLine.

Just stupid amounts of money being thrown around this free agency to complete junk players in some cases. The salary cap spike has made some very average dudes rich. And will only make signing actual super stars that much damn harder *cough AD, cough*. Every year a player remains unsigned the worse its going to get.

Might not be a bad signing for them. No long term commitment but maybe he can get some chemistry with Luck.
