I refuse to shoot the messenger here.

Anybody here doubt that the Viking FO and coaching staffs are running circles around those of the Rams?

Same with the Eagles FO and coaching staffs.

Just to name a couple. And it's not even close.

Both organizations are miles ahead of ours at this point in '16. And to think how fragile their prospects looked on opening day...

We can do better than Jeff Fisher, fellas. Been saying it for 2 years now. Just look around the league. Sigh...
Last week there was little discernible difference between the three.
Then Buffalo happened, and now we're the worst.
In two weeks, if the Rams have a better record than the other two, then what?

I refuse to partake in knee-jerk week-by-week analysis of the entire season and/or the Franchise's future.
I'll revisit the veracity of this argument after week 17.

I think the Rams have jaded a lot of us. Every year we keep thinking this is the year things will be different. We got to 3-1 with a beatable opponent at home. The defense got gashed. The offense couldn't score in the redzone. Its only natural to think nothing has changed. Because up to now, nothing has changed. We're seeing what we've seen since 2012.

If we win the next two and go 5-2 then I can say things have changed. We're entering uncharted waters. But so far up to today, things are still the same. The waters were in are familiar to us. We have occasional impressive wins that get offset by disappointing losses.

Fair enough, X.

We can revisit this after a couple more games. Hopefully, games in which the Ram O has truly asserted itself.

I would LOVE to be 5-2 after the Giant game.

Does it?

One of the team he lauds has the same record as the Rams (Buffalo)
Only 7 teams out of 32 have a better record than the Rams right now (22% of the league).

Minus the Steelers? That's always a red flag.
Of the top 10 teams in passing yards:

Steelers (first place)
Atlanta (first place)
Raiders (first place)
Redskins (winning record)

The rest of the teams at the top of the league?
The Patriots have not shifted to a conservative offensive approach.
The Texans have not shifted to a conservative offensive approach.
The Ravens have not shifted to a conservative offensive approach.
The Eagles have not shifted to a conservative offensive approach.
The Packers have not shifted to a conservative offensive approach.

Complete and utter hogwash, and I shouldn't even have to explain why.

lolwut? Helped them how, exactly?

More or less talking about Jeff fisher and fisherball. Rams are 3-2 right now which isn't bad but as Fisherball demonstrates through history average is what's bound for us which the article sums up quite well.

It's hard to defend Fisher. The offensive line hasn't lived up to the hype/hope from last year. I will say that last week changed things as far as Fisherball . The Rams playing without Hayes, Brokers and Quinn the Rams stayed even (16-16) with the Bills until the pick six in the third quarter. The Rams lost the turnover battle 2-0 and the game. Going into the game the Rams were +3 in turnovers. That's includes a -1 in the first week of the season. Currently, the Rams are 13th in turnover differential. I know injuries are a part of the NFL but these really hit the heart of the Rams defense. I can only image a different turnover and game outcome with the defense line intact.

I disagree with the overall premise of the article and many of the examples/analogies used.

However, the issues with the OLine...I have a problem with.
