I know the Rams can beat the 69ers, Squaks, HOU, DEN. I’m just not sure how they lineup against CHI, BUF, and NE. I do feel they have to score 31 points to ensure a victory.
If they can't cover buffalo's receivers than I'm at a loss. I can't even name those guys. Chicago quietly has a Jekyll and Hyde offense very similar to our defense. So I'm not too worried. I think our offense can outpace them.

Chicago caught fire in the second half last week against a Packers team who is unquestionably worse than us on defense though. They were contained most of the game. Same as last time they played.
Chicago can go any way. They could destroy us, roll over on us or make it a competitive game.

A lot hinges on us being more consistent in all phases (defense but also offense and ST) and probably how fast Lake can get his legs back under him.

And we should be afraid of any offense that can block our front, cause after that, our secondary is extremely gettable.

No lie there....

The 4th quarter had to be one of worst defense performance I have seen since we got smashed by the Duarte Gorillas in the 2nd half when we gave up 60 points in the 2nd half. (junior midget)

I couldn't believe what my eyes were watching in that 4th quarter..... still can't believe it.

I myself think the Rams should look for OL in the draft..... Right now Stafford is the best QB in the NFL, but he's probably the slowest QB. So it's important to keep that dude protected. And based on his performances it looks like he has at least two more season if no major injuries occur.
If they move on from Hav, as I expect them to, then a swing OT would be in order. So someone with good feet who has a reasonable chance to play on the left. This draft isn't very good at the top at LT compared to the better years, but there are project types which fits the Rams need.

Center as well would be nice. Those guys usually the wheelhouse for them is round 3, and can be found midrounds generally.

Avila incidentally will be in a contract year in '26. Meaning I am sure he'll be focused in and will probably have a strong season.

So OL is a need, but since it's a swing role need, not a primary need like the X wideout role or the CB1 role, it won't take precedence unless the board lines up for them that way. And even then they may prioritize positioning for one of those two top needs.
