I knew Caleb Williams would experience growing pains. He looks terrible, like a colossal bust. Caleb was sacked nine times, and his accuracy was all over the place. He held onto the ball too long.

So the usual outcomes. Glad I got pulled away I guess.
Yep. Pretty much a terrible day of predictable BS. I hate to say it, but football is losing me a bit.

Yeah I wish we got to play them later in the year when our defense had more experience and our offense wasn't ass. Williams just stares into the void and waits for someone to hit him.

Todd Bowles is moronic at times.
Blitzes Purdy but plays his CBs 15 + yards off of the outside WRs. So, an easy pitch and catch outside for 8-10 yards....never changes or adjusts.
If you going to go heavy blitz you have to take the risk of tight coverage so the rush can get there.
So, the Whiners go right down the field without challenge to kick the winning FG.
Bowles is a dumb dumb.

.

I couldn't work it out back then and still can't figure it out.

How in the hell did the Rams lose to the bears? Talk about a loss that put the team behind the 8 ball.

Let’s just say that that wasn’t one of McVay’s better games.

I remember the Rams comfortably controlling the game until an awful Stafford turnover. Then everything went pear shaped. But for the life of me I don't understand how they could play so bad after that turnover.

But like you said that control didn't include scoring points. That's why qb turnovers matter when the offense can't score many points.

They started the game minus 3 o-line starters and lost a 4th early. How does our offense look when we have 3 or 4 starting lineman out?

Everywhere I was watching yesterday I just saw teams that aren't well coached. Jacksonville Dallas Chicago chief among them. Those entire coaching staffs should be fired.

Agreed.

One of the things that most irritates me is when people say that someone who is a paid professional must know whet they’re doing.

It’s total nonsense.

I have no idea how Eberflus ever got a head coaching job. He was an awful defensive coordinator for Mizzou when he was here, and I was shocked that he got a DC job with the Colts - and stunned beyond belief that he got a head coaching job with the Bears.

He proved my thoughts on him absolutely right.
As soon as they got the first pick they should have hired an offensive HC to work with him. If he busts it's all on Bears leadership.
