I stumbled upon this earlier in the week and admit that i was a bit shocked.
Frank Gore is 1,000 yds away from passing Barry Sanders for 3rd all time career rushing yards. Obviously Gore has been active far longer than Sanders' relatively short nine year career but still....i didn't think Gore was anywhere near the top 10.

Guess who is #13 for total passing yards, and at one point was in the top 5 I think. Top 7 or 8 for sure when he retired.

Since the Rams aren’t playing, I’ve been skipping around watching different games today. 2 things jump out at me while watching the Jags game.
Their defense is suffocating..yes They’re playing the Jets, but it is evident that their defense is much more advanced as of this stage of the season than our Rams. The second thing about this game is Jeff Fisher is one of the commentators..hilarious.

You could say that, but I wouldn't put LF in that category. He can still play and has been to the Pro Bowl the last three years. He not toast yet LOL.
Yeah it's not debatable that he can still play but i believe he is padding. He's a loyal guy who will retire a Cardinal and stay a Cardinal until retirement. Having said that, I feel like if he was still in it to compete and have success he would have either retired after last year when it became obvious that AZ's window had closed shut or looked to be traded to a contender.
By hanging around these last 2 seasons he's gone from around 10th all time in yardage to 3rd and soon to be 2nd in a few weeks. Not a coincidence IMO. That's his goal.
I 100% believe he'll retire after this season because he'll never catch Rice.
IMO the only difference between Fitz and AP is that Fitz is loyal to franchise.
