Do we need to add a RB? Yes.

Do we need to add a starting RB? Not sure.

At this point, I'm still thinking RB in Round 4 or 5 (with expected comp picks).

I think the key is the difference between RB and weapon.

Do the Rams need to add a starting RB? Maybe. Maybe not.

Do the Rams need to add a weapon for that scares defenses and opens things up for others? YES!!!

And if that weapon happens to be a RB so be it.

Gurley was a RB and a weapon that defenses feared. Akers not so much.

What really matters is an impact player with that round 2 pick. I honestly don't care what position they go with. In fact if it's not the most obvious need it probably means it's a true-to-the-board type pick most likely. Which means maybe we hit big on a guy who will elevate this team.

That's what we need. Too many satisfied stars last season, some might bounce back but we need an infusion of play-quick types who scare the others on the depth chart and that round 2 pick has to be a hit. We need quality there. Not a fucking 3 year development with amazing potential where we miss out on that cheap valued starter. A player with a history of producing who slid from whatever position. There's some of those guys every year let's get one of them.

It's worrying we all see needs in so many positions. I personally think our first priority for capital (draft or FA or really both) has to be to beef up the OL. I think Cam can do well if we get that taken care of--he's good when he has a lane or hole and makes it to the 2nd level, but maybe we could pick a RB up in later rounds.
Problem with Cam is him staying healthy. Hasn't gone a season without injury yet. Just stating that fact, but I would never put it past our FO to do something we least expect. We did draft Tutu.....ouch

We're a better team when we have a shared backfield. There are some solid RBs in the draft but also in the free agent market

Gibbs would be hard to pass up if he’s there at our 2nd rounder.
