What year would you guys say the best Ram team ever was? I remember the 2003 team with Bulger at QB and I really thought that team could have had a championship. The same with us that year. Had we not choked on a 4th and 26 against Philly I truly believe we would have beaten Carolina in the NFC Championship Game. I believe you guys lost to Carolina the day before we lost to Philly. I believe you guys were much better than that Carolina team as well.

2000, the greatest show on turf was the best Rams team I have seen during my lifetime. The second best was in 2022 with Stafford running the offense.

The 1999 team was good. Won a Superbowl. But I thought the 2001 team was a little better. Refs and the league clearly favored the underdogs. The 2021 team didn't put up the points the 1999-2001 teams did but knew how to get it done when it counted.

Easily the 2001 Rams. We had superstars all over that defense: Aeneas Williams, London Fletcher, Leonard Little, Grant Wistrom, and Dre Bly. We had all of our offensive studs. Without the Cheatriots cheating, we would've had that Super Bowl.

So many men on that team got cheated because of those fuckers. It's why they're my most-hated team in sports.

The NFL was not going to allow a team wearing red white and blue to lose the superbowl after 9/11. It would have been bad for business and bad for the collective mindset of the nation, at least in their eyes. Unfortunately, we got caught in the crosswinds of that one.
And as the ultimate insult, after they were gifted their first superbowl "win", the cheatriots got to win several more. Because they became the golden team of the NFL after that.

I'd take the 1999 Rams over the 2001 team and I'm honestly surprised more people wouldn't. They were more disciplined on offense, less unnecessary, risky turnovers. Kurt Warner and Az Hakim played better in 99 than they did in 01, IMO.

And I'd give the special teams edge to the 99 team. Tony Horne >>>>>> Trung Canidate as a KR.

I know the 99 Rams played the lightest schedule probably in NFL history. And nobody knew what to expect from them yet.

Even so, they ran just about everyone they played out of the stadium. As I see it, they were only a handful of plays from going 19-0.

Can't really choose between the 1999 and 2001 Rams. 3rd would be the 2021 Rams. After that the 2018 Rams. I didn't watch any other Rams teams so I cannot rank beyond that, before my time, I band-wagoned onto the Rams during the GSOT years as I don't have a local team and it was just as I started watching football, and never looked back.

The 99' team played a very soft schedule. Lost to the only two teams that finished with a winning record. The 2001 team was a better team, but opponents also adjusted more to that offense vs back in 99' when the 4 WR stuff, along with defending a guy like Faulk in that offense, was kind of new.

Didn't they prove their legitimacy in January?

That schedule shit died a violent death.

99 special teams much better, yes.

But 2001 defense was very very solid, better than 99.

If Odell hadn't been injured, we blow out the bungals. If Tee Higgins gets flagged for grabbing Ramsey's facemask, we blow out the bungals.

IMO, the 2001 Rams were the best overall team, cheated out of a super bowl win by Belicheater. I find it humorous that the cheatriots players say they know nothing about cheating. Well, duh Einstein. Belicheater isn't going to tell you he filmed the Ram's plays. He just made it part of his game plan. I wish we had copies of the tapes made by Matt Walsh. Goodell destroyed them then says there was no wrongdoing even though he was the only one with the tapes. If you believe that, I have swamp land to sell you.

Hands down 2001. While the ‘99 team shocked the world, it was a soft schedule that year. ‘01 was a more well rounded team.

They deserved to be champs, just saying a tougher schedule would have given them a worse record when comparing them to other Rams SB teams.

So relax... sheesh.

Yes. The Rams just destroyed teams that year. Max Q has been forgotten after losing to the Patriots in the Super Bowl which is a darn shame.
