Vikings on the History Channel isn't to bad , it runs kind hot and coldWill give it a chance, but nothing in that genre can compare to GOT

I agree on the acting. I think it's pretty good.I watched the second episode. I kind of like it so far. There is just enough intrigue there to keep me coming back. It is not as dreary as I thought. Good sword play. I don't recall who said the acting was bad but I disagree.
I think it's really starting to suck as well.
My wife likes it, so I watch, but.....meh.
Then maybe you should send your wife over my way so I have someone to watch it with. BTW I don't think Legatron said it is starting to suck. He lost interest in well before the last episode. I don't think he ever watched past the first one.
I've read that. Pretty good stuff.I meant I've lost interest as well. Funny thing is, I love that medieval genre - seen 'A Knight's Tale' a dozen times - and love GOT as well, I just can't seem to get into this one.
If you ever get a chance, check out "Pillars of the Earth", a miniseries based on a Ken Follett novel of the same name. It chronicles the life if a medieval mason, (who were basically the architects of their time) - has some pretty good actors/acting in it.
I think TBE is a very good show and with all the twist in turns it's leading up to be something very big. With a lot of truths revealed and more yet to come it's going to be a fun ride the rest of the seried
That kind of stuff drives me crazy with shows like this. I mean wouldn't you spill those beans in that situation? What possible motive would you have not to do so? I like the way Sutter writes himself a role into these series. I knew the first time I saw the Templar Knight that it was Sutter. Why do I get the feeling that Annora is going to be somehow connected to the Holy Grail? Things are getting interesting and I fully expect to see some Sons of Anarchy cast show up in this one sooner than later.I didn't expect Wilkin to go to Lady Love so soon. I figured that may take much longer but it was so beautifully done. Having seen how the innocent but desperate man gave his life to give his family a future, Wilkin considers his own dire situation and the mess it has become and decides to sacrifice himself for his friends and family. Nice parallel. I really wanted to see the Reeve and his buddy get run through. Too bad that Lady Love interrupted.......but that just adds another twist because now the Reeve will be after Wilkin too.
The story with Annora is getting very interesting. I want to see her guardian rip some of those sadistic freaks a new one. I hope there is some sort of battle that at least shows him taking out most of them, rather than seeing him fall quickly. He is a Templar afterall. What makes it interesting though is that the Archbishop or whatever he is has the backing of the King. So, taking him out is not a good option. But I would hate to see that guy putting Annora's skin on his wall, like the rest of his victims. I am hoping the Baroness can somehow step in and save Annora.
I really was hoping that Wilkin would have told the Baroness that the Chamberlain was the guy behind his troubles. Maybe she is starting to figure that out. I find this show to be very suspenseful.
