It's all about their tackles on the offensive end. If they get good play on the edge their offense will be better. That said Murray is not a QB who is all-in mentally, and I think that makes them fragile. Best case is they make a run for the playoffs, but they'll get dropped quickly if they do. More likely is middle of the pack early, with a crash as the season goes on and the inevitable cellar finish.

I figured last season would be enough for the Cards to finally pull their heads out their asses with Murray. But they're stupider than I gave them cred for. Tune obviously did not impress last season in practice. Ridder is marginal as fuck. Maybe this will be the season that breaks their resolve on believing in Murray, though I hope not. I'd like to see them keep pissing away seasons with him.

IMO Gannon and Ossenfort will look to move on from Murray if at all possible.
It would have to be to another veteran, like the Vikings with Darnold. Unfortunately for them, this year's QB class sucks.

Their best bet is just stick it out with Kyler who has the talent to win but something in him just sputters and chokes as the season goes on.

They could go for a stop gap veteran. They aren’t ready to seriously compete anyway in terms of overall roster talent.

Kirk Cousins for example.

Every year Murray starts well and drops off by seasons end. I think his size keeps him from being able to play at the same level all year.

5 Td passes in his last 7 games.
His play has tapered.. wonder if it's him or the team.. he's still moving well.

Here's a speculative injury update on James Conner

Also here's what I've noticed about Murray. It seems like the dude gets in his own head a lot. He always has the same response when things go sour for his team. Head down, throws his hands up and his play drops off a cliff. If the Rams can get to him a couple of times and keep him in the pocket we should be able to handle the cards. Not mentioning that it looks like Conner will be sidelined.

when did the new Call of Duty drop?

Murray's annual performance slides usually coincides with the game release ever year

I expect this QB class to have busts at the top but there may be some good values later. I really like Gabriel in late rounds for example. Not a fan of small QBs but as long as they are taken outside the early rounds it's worth a shot and maybe you get a good backup that offers strong scout team impression of mobile QBs for your defense. Also Dart midround.
