Here's a pic of me and my band mates back in 1978 Freshman in high school.

Starting left to right.... Bongwater Bill (rhythm guitar), Me (lead guitar, lead singer and band manager), Julian (bass guitar) and kneeling (Bear - Drums)...... We all pretty much grew up together since grade school.

I still have the white Gibson 1976 Les Paul Custom today.

Honestly feels like it wasn’t just the stuff, it was the pace of life - slower, more intentional. Kinda makes me wanna put the phone down more and enjoy the “boring” moments a bit.

I got my drivers license in July 1970 and it captures my driving experiences back then pretty well. I had a 1961 Ford Galaxie (AM radio only) and I would punch the accelerator down when a song I liked came on the radio. Basically pre-punk garage band song from 1972.

Change that to burnt orange and remove it from the toilet tank and you had one of my parents’ bathrooms. THE HORROR!!!

We do bath remodels and still run into the carpeted bathrooms. We rip out a lot of it (grant it, not the avocado green or burnt orange much) ( @RamFan503 parent’s carpet was actually not burnt orange but white before the little fella pissed all over it during potty training)
