Game balls: McVay. Great run designs in the second half. Good to see the two TE sets come back.

WRs: Best group of blocking receivers in the game. It is a rarity to see a receiver get fired up and yell/fist pump or whatever after delivery a block to help with a nice run. Woods and Reynolds both did this and all the receivers were physical in the running game. Huge asset and shows the no prima donna culture McVay has built.

Everett: Forget the two late false starts, Everett was McVay favorite gadget on Thursday. Lined up multiple times as a FB. While he didn’t blow people up like a FB would he did enough and really was a cog in the running game. He has been rightfully blasted for his run blocking at times but his was a determined effort on Thursday. Would like to see more of this Everett with some pass designs to him out of the FB eventually.

Akers: That’s called a coming out party.

Young and Reeder: Both were very physical and active on Thursday. Young with a complete game....tackles, a sack, pic six. Reeder has his same flaws but is a high engine effort guy who was playing sideline to sideline on Thursday.

Gaines: As the guys above he was very active and involved on Thursday. Joseph-Day on Sunday, Gaines on Thursday. Donald, Brockers, Robinson get the attention and rightfully so, but, the rest of the DL rotation (Joseph-Day, Fox, Gaines) have really stepped up this year and it is a major asset to the defense.
