I don't think Detroit is the best team in the NFC. They're a damn good team. But their secondary ain't all that. First team they run into in the playoffs that slows their offense their fans will be shitting bricks.
Second Rakestraw gets played opposite Arnold (the former's injured), and they get another stud safety and pass rusher (seems very likely next year), they'll become even scarier. Quite frankly, with all of the injuries they've had on the line (including and especially Hutchinson), I'm stunned that their DC has managed to cobble together something resembling a pass-rush.

But who is that going to be?
I think we need to wait and see how teams look end of December. But right now there are some other teams in the NFC that are capable of knocking them out. Eagles, Packers, Vikes, etc.

Reminder that we lost to an Eberflus coached team. Injuries and all, that game was so winnable, even if on the road, and is the one that might be the difference.
Yep. Bears and Dolphins game were shit the bed performances.

Eberflus met with reporters on Friday morning, expressing his confidence he'd be at the helm in Week 14. About two hours later, he's out after less than three full seasons.

The firing marks the first time in Bears franchise history they've parted with a coach midseason.

Eberflus ends his tenure in Chicago with a 14-32 record. He started each of his three seasons with four or fewer wins through Week 12.

Good fucking riddance. I'm not even a Bears fan, and I felt sorry for them after he got hired. I knew it was going to turn out to be a disaster.
Yeah. Too bad we couldn't squeeze a win out of that hire.

.

How long can the chiefs keep fluking wins?

It's just strange that now mahommes is the golden boy, all of a sudden opposing teams start giving games away to the chiefs after they used to give them away to the cheats.

It blows me away.

I realize the circumstances … Holiday, time of day, Dallas, tradition.

Still though. A game where the starting quarterbacks were Drew Lock and Cooper Rush will be the most watched Regular Season game of 2024. WOW!
