Part of me wants Detroit to at least make it to the Superbowl. Those poor fans have suffered for a long time. They deserve something good.

The other part of me would dread the inevitable Goff>Stafford that would permeate social media.

I have no doubt that Goff could not have done what Stafford did in the final 3 games that Superbowl season. Coming through with clutch passes to win those games. I also think this version of the Lions would have a better chance at winning a Superbowl with Stafford.

I hate Joseph. Could not stand that cheesy BS bit him and Branch did earlier in the broadcast. Karma is gonna catch up with that douchebag

Man I wish we could replay that Bears game. They had no business losing to the Bears.

That’s the one game this year that bothers me. We’ve had chances to win in other games and could have won (Det, GB, Mia) - but the Bears game they SHOULD have won.

I know there are 6 more games left to play. That is a lot in the NFL. But this Detroit team looks really good. A solid line. Probably the best pair of running backs in the league. Good skill position players. A good tight end. And a seasoned vet at quarterback who can look elite when he sits in the pocket unmolested and allowed to go through all his progressions. Goff might struggle with pressure. But give him time and he will pick a defense apart.

That red zone drive looked like it was coached by McVay. A couple unimaginative passing concepts and asking WRs and TEs to block interior LBs on runs.

That Oline is giving Goff such a clean pocket most of the time and opening some major holes. I'm so jealous.

I will say though, this game should be a total blow out but it's still only a two score game. Detroit is looking a lot like the Rams. Move the ball a bunch but just enough to get 3 out of it.

Lions absolutely dominant here, yet it’s only 16-0.

Chicago should have been dead and buried by now.

Fumble on the way to a TD. Yep. Looks too familiar.

can't fault Gibbs on that fumble... was a great helmet to ball hit
And a good punch out against Williams IIRR. It happens. I'm just drawing on similarities.

Of course I don't think our D has come close to what Detroit is doing here.

And yet, we went toe to toe with them. Fully healthy, we can beat anyone. Other side of the coin, we can also lose to anyone (i.e. da Bears).

The Rams LG position, Steve Avila, is the weakest link. Maybe Avila is still injured and not 100 percent yet
and getting pushed back like a turnstile?

Solid drive there Bears, what a dart from Williams to Allen. We might have a game now.

Bears offense is so fucking bad...almost Junior High-ish.
