This team will come back better next year. Stafford still looks like he’s got a lot left in the tank. We’ll improve the roster this off-season. McVay is gonna spend nearly all of his waking hours working on RZ stuff and I bet we get it fixed

A successful season in my eyes for sure. Yeah …. Always sucks to lose in the playoffs, but Im shocked we made it to the dance. The great news is our offense is set! We have picks and are outta cap hell next year. Add an edge rusher or 2 and a couple secondary FAs and we will make a deep run next year.

No tosses wide and no jets makes you wonder. Redzone calls were strange.
we did try a jet in the red zone and it got lit up.

One of the reasons we struggled in the red zone was that we couldn't really consistently run against Detroit.

We had a couple of long runs but a lot of stuffs.

However, McVay should have run the ball in the 1st quarter when we had the ball at the 4 yard line - that was costly.

Yeah I wanna say we ran the ball on first down on 2 of the 3 stalled trips. Got snuffed out both times.

Compare where we ended up - wild-card play-off game with the season where most expected the rams to finish around 7-10 or 6-11, or even 5-12.

It was a great ride. Looking forward to next year and this years re-stocking!! :helmet: :foot :shitlogo:

Every season is different. This one was never going to be a deep playoff run and we knew that. But wanted to say I appreciate how you outperformed expectations and laid the groundwork for the future. Cheers boys. :clinkingbeer:
I didn’t expect much this season but we had a winning record, made the playoffs and beat the whiners.

Exceeded my expectations for sure

And kicker. I shouldn't be able to feel my heartbeat in my throat whenever the kicker hit the field.

Might need to look into a WR for those 50/50 shots Stafford seems to like to throw since it appears to be off limits to the tall TE with great hops and hands (Allen).

I don't think Stafford trusts Allen yet in the red zone. But I think Allen is going to be a good one.

But you do make a good point about possibly getting a taller WR because Stafford tried that play 3 times IIRC.

Stafford is twice the QB Goff is and if he was the Lions QB right now this team would have a legit shot to win the Super Bowl. As it stands now the Lions may not get by the Packers and damn sure will not stand up to the 9ers.

I’m happy for Jared but it’s clear as day which one is asked to do more for their offense. Stafford was out there making throws that really only Mahomes is making. He essentially missed 1 throw all night, the ball to Kupp up the sideline early 3Q. But some of those passes tonight were insane. The TD pass to Tutu…the DB was draped all over his back! Several of the layered in breakers to Puka, a few of the balls to Allen. Hate that it didn’t translate in the RZ but if Stafford plays as well next year as he did this year this team will 1000% be back in the playoffs.

I am pissed with this loss because we worked so hard to get here after 3-6 start.

Very proud of the Rams. The so-called experts predicted at the beginning of the season a four win season and never expected the Rams to be in the playoffs.

With the great draft of Avila, Young, Turner, Nacua, Davis Allen (watch out for this player will supplant Higbee next year), Ethan Evans and other FA like Demarcus Robinson and Kevin Dotson, the Rams were a force to be reckoned. And hopefully with the great draft in 2024 to replenish some positions (Edge, Cornerback, Free Safety and LT), the Rams will own the NFC for years to come.

Nobody expected the Rams to be in the playoffs and play with house money, yet they just came very close by one point.

Go Rams

Was a great season that made it entertaining for us all. So no complaints on that front.

Tough to go out on a missed call on Puka followed by Mcvay deciding to punt.

We made sacrifices in 23 to have funds for 24. So, looking forward to the influx of talent.
