Gurley's knee is down at this spot from what I can see:

And this is where he is at from this angle

I think he was a half yard short

Hard to tell really

Still should have been a review of the call
And look at where the ref is at

And look at where Cooks is in the end zone on the Gurley interception

Too bad Goff didn't see him.

I know the linebacker was looking at Goffs eyes but even if Goff looked Cooks way I doubt the linebacker can back peddle in time to block the pass

You are allowed to touch a receiver with your hand, like he did on Gurleys side. You can't grab. But, I thought he was early on his back as well.
The downfield block in the back noncall to me was the strange and obvious no call....unnecessary roughness, block in the back, take your pick.
The no call on the Cooks hit really just points out how badly the rule is written.

I still think the ref had a bad angle on the Cooks hit, refs would call that one so I think he just couldn't see it.

The hit in the back was odd, watching it again in the vid @bubbaramfan posted really makes it look bad. Really bad. He flattened him and the ball carrier was already mostly down.

Here's another non call. Hags #58 (Britt) hammers Rams #23 (Roby-Coleman) in the back sending him sprawling to the ground. Ref just feet away , turns his head and walks away.

Go to 7:25 in the clip

One of the Rams even pointed it out to the ref, maybe it was Brockers?

Terrible awful no call.

LOL someone needs to do a slow motion video of the hold on Donald at around 10:05 of the highlight video.........it's one of the most blatant holding calls I've seen get missed.

It's football not Sumo wrestling FFS.

That was terrible.

again, the stills don't show the full picture. if anything he was half a step late to gurley.

i'm not sure he could get the ball to cooks. don't want to be lobbing the ball in the middle of the endzone with all those defenders there.

It looks like he didn't, but the spot was still for shit.

He looks a foot and a half short, but not a yard and a half.

I am not a computer savant or even close to it. Someone would have to explain how to record the video.

Your're right - the still doesn't show the full picture.

If you could see the entire picture, you would see cooks going to Goff's right towards the back end of the end zone in the upper right hand corner.

No Seattle player was even remotely close to that area of the field.

All Goff had to do was lob the ball towards the upper right hand corner a bit to the right of Cooks. The only possible person to catch that ball would be Cooks himself. No other Seattle player would have been able to get to it.

And Goff is more than capable of making that pass :yess:
