Luckily it didn’t cost us but on the games final drive, it was 2nd 8, and Gurley cut back across the field and looked like he got the first down. But the spot was absolutely awful. It was a full yard off, maybe more. It looked like he landed right at the line to gain. I know McVay woulda challenged but we didn’t have a timeout. But that was one of serveral calls that did t go our way. Team showed grit overcoming all of it.

It was a horrible spot.

My brother and I raged about that.

I don't think it was a first down, but it was a terrible spot.

Even if we had a TO we couldn't have challenged. All challenges inside the 2 minute warning have to come from the booth. But it was a bad spot. It may not have been a first down, but we were a lot closer than they had us.

Terrible spot and no review, plus the cheap shot block in the back on Coleman after the play was over .

The spot was bad, but not a 1st.. but TGII would have gotten the first on the next play if spotted correctly

Will have to see the game again this week but I went from yelling "First down" when I saw Gurley fall beyond the yellow marker to "What???" when the refs changed everything. Most bizarre switch that I can remember.

It seemed like every critical call went the Seahawks way. It was the Rams vs Seahawks/Refs

I’m just glad that we won a Clete Blakeman ref’d game. His games don’t usually work out for us. I’d say that in the past 10 years, he’s probably the ref that’s fucked us the most.

I'm confused. I watched the replay and Gurley had the ball a 1/2 yd past the chains. They marked it nearly two yards shy of where he landed. Worst spot I've ever seen I believe.

Wasn’t this game one of the “game of the week” games?

The officiating and replays all seemed 3rd rate.

I can’t remember which thread someone joked about it, but it sure seemed like a few replay cameras weren’t sent to Seattle too. Several plays they didn’t show or stopped with just one angle.

I just went back and watched it again. The line to gain was the 43. Gurley landed about a foot past that. The angle is from his back so his feet were where the ball was spotted. The side of his calf could have been on the ground a 1/2 yd shy but it just doesn't look like it. Goff immediately gets in the refs face about the mark but to no avail. They should have reviewed it at least.

Yeah. I think someone said the endzone cam was an iPhone.

1) That was an absolute shit spot. The ball was across the line to gain when Gurley went down.

2) Where were the pylon cams on the hawks' TD in the 3rd Quarter?!? That would have given definitive proof whether or not Moore stepped out of the back of the endzone (and it sure looked like he did, from the angles we were provided on TV).

3) DJ Fluker can eat a bag of syphillitic dicks, whining about the holding call afterwards. They were holding the Rams all game long with impunity up to that point.

I'm just glad the Rams were able to overcome the piss-poor officiating.
