I don't expect his snaps to increase. McVay told Jourdan 20-30 and he didn't intend for him to hit 30 against Tampa Bay.

Yea I understand, but 20 to 30 is more reps than anything he has had. If Obo and Garret can make an impact as well that will be awesome.

Guessing that the Steelers intended to move Jones to their Practice Squad. However, rules require that he first has to be released and clear waivers.

Waiver claims are based on worst record priority. If the Rams got him, that means few ... if any other ... teams put in a claim.

If it's the current NFL records, then none of the 28 teams with a loss, put in a claim.

If it's too early in 2021 to go by current records for waiver priority, then none of the teams (about 22 or 24) with fewer than ten wins in 2020, put in a claim on Jones.
