I wasn't as hype as everyone else when he was signed. I thought he was an icehole...and not the good kind of icehole, just one of those that did what he wanted and didn't care if hurt someone.

The sack near the end of the game he seemed legit happy, that's something I've never seen from him. And did he actually smile after that? Course winning makes the difference, but still.

He's been playing well and everyone seems to be talking about him for the right reasons. Even if there will be adversity at some point, I don't think his attitude is gonna change.

Kudos...he is now truly A Man Named Suh.

And how ironic that on a article focusing on the offensive output from their last opponent they would show a picture on how the opposition are truly handling the Rams D

He was an absolute prick of a player. Making dirty moves and his aura was, to me at least, like he didn't care about team performance, just doing what he wants.

It seems like his entire personality has changed in LA tho.

I have to disagree never once did I see an interview showing he didnt care about his team. Yes he used to step on people and play after the whistle but that's on the field. I think people judge him off the field for a few plays when he was younger on the field.

I think we can put this down to how coaches McVay AND Phillips are and the ethos that the Rams now stand for. He is no longer a pantomime villain of a football team, just an elite player.

And I'll admit I stand corrected on Marcus Peters. I was really worried about his character when we got him but he's had a clean slate to date.

Suh met with both Theodore Roosevelt High and Garfield High. Above is the TR visit. Here's the Garfield visit:

For me, it's Suh's off field availability that's been surprising. On these two HS visits, he looks like he's enjoying it. It should be his off time during the work week, no? Sure, Nike and all, but I mean, now and then on these shoe company promos you'll see an athlete look like they're making a hostage video or something, but Suh looks good in these. And last night, he didn't have to do an interview courtside with NBA TV -- it was his private time after all, but he did the interview anyways. He also did the live SportsCenter thing a few weeks back. He seems to fit. I hope he likes it enough here to stay (at a modest discount).

Since the chances are good we win the division my mind is wandering just wondering what happens to these old guys. Suh, Talib, Sully Whit, are we ready to replace them with young guys and what’s more are the young guys ready?

Me too. Never liked the dude for those reasons you mention. Didn't want him signed. But I am glad we have him right now.

I just hope the run defense continues to improve as the season goes on. That is going to be a big part of how his addition this year is graded down the road IMO. We know he can rush the passer, but this defense still needs to demonstrate it can stuff the run week in and out vs a determined and talented opponent.
