Honestly? Sometimes I'm amazed at how much production, fire, and wins we get out of our collection of players. When you take away our few outstanding guys our roster is very... mediocre.

The Rams are all three, at least. That is why the NFL motto should be "Any Given Sunday"I have no idea who our team is. Are they the team that was a questionable pass interference call from starting 5-0? Or are they the team that got shut down by a banged up 49er defense that gave up 43 points to Miami? Or the the team that couldn't stop a struggling quarterback whose coach called conservative short plays all day?
I keep thinking how they came out so flat against a division rival who won the NFC last year. How can that happen? Or are they not as good as we thought? Either prospect is concerning. If they can't get ready for a division rival, what chance do they have against Russell Wilson? If they aren't as good as we thought, well, nevermind.
You have to consider Goff as Antonio Saliere, not Mozart! ~CHAMPSpeaking of the offense specifically here, i disagree that the unit is soft or has trouble handling physicality because they're soft.
After watching the McVay/Goffense for more than 3 years now...IMO this unit has taken on a somewhat machine-like, robotic personality. Not soft or even particularly physical.
It's success is so much predicated on execution, rhythm, timing, tempo shifts and discipline. More often than not this produces excellent results. Like a high functioning motor with thousands of tiny moving parts. It sounds like i described a finesse offense but that's not the case here. The Rams can and have delivered smash mouth football as well.
I feel like at times when a defense can get ahead of our offense in the playbook or disrupt the rhythm even a little, the playcalling AND Goff struggle to re-center the focal point of attack...if that makes sense.
I don't think this offense is very instinctual on the fly. It's Mozart, not Jimi Hendrix.

like when during the game, I saw Jalen Ramsey yawning on the sideline, first thot, he had money on the whinersUnfortunately, I think the matter falls on a game to game basis with this team. There are times we are more physical and how did we get there? Mind set. Each week the mind set changes. Last week you could read the body language of our key members and see something was off in the mind set.
Yes, and when goff is on, they can't be stopped. Unfortunately I think Goff comes out tight in a big matchup and when that happens the whole offense and staff know it. They try to keep to the game plan but goff misses reads or misses an open player and before you know it the D starts giving up long drives and wearing down. The D resets at half time but the offense can't always fix itself. They really need to have a quick change to the plan to get Goff back on his game.Speaking of the offense specifically here, i disagree that the unit is soft or has trouble handling physicality because they're soft.

Well think we saw much more effort and toughness than last week.I agree, and frankly, I'm a little worried about how they respond. This will be a huge teller of the seasons story.
I think the answered that question tonight. After the loss ,we're gonna get a chance to see about toughness and mentality Monday night. Imho
They most definitely read my post and it fueled them.Well think we saw much more effort and toughness than last week.
