2nd team O Troast at LT, Blaske RG, Limmer C, Bowls RG, Henderson RT. This is how they started, but they kept rotating guys around the 2nd team. Limmer also got a lot of snaps with the 1st team later and Troast also took snaps with the 2nd team at RG. Bennett at QB Rivers and Hunter as RB,
Oh, hey a Hunter sighting... Harry Henderson might be a good find. Thanks for the great reports, gentlemen!

Great to hear all of the Mevis hype. Really hoping we've solidified that for years to come... Something I've said for several years now about different names lol. Hopefully good this time. I HATE worrying about kickers during games.

Hopefully Garrett sharpens Quessenberry enough to where he will be serviceable if the time comes. Our achilles heal right now.

I found it disheartening that they didn't mention Hunter being included on kickoff returns. You would think he would be ideal on kickoffs. A powerfully built guy with speed. Hopefully they just failed to mention him. Otherwise, I wonder if he makes the team? Maybe he lacks something that they are looking for.

I feel like this is a every year thing with AJ. Im starting to not like him, but some of it is not his fault ( meds issues), but a lot of it is(legal). We need a Solid backup or a new starter at this rate. Basically hes missed over 25% of his Games in his career. 83 Games, Missed 26 in 5 years. This might be a make or break season for him.

We’re probably still getting the best value for cost at that position in the league with A.J. LTs of his caliber aren’t available to us for Stafford’s window.

This may be true, is no one better available than Quess? "There has to be! We need a solid back-up whos not gonna get Stafford Killed but someone who can be ready to be called on and Prob play a lot.

He has done pretty well for an UDFA, but I would prefer his availability be a bit more than roughly 65%.

Completely different animal. Hunter may be a pure running back, which doesn’t really bode well for his future

Any word on Limmer vs Shelton? Is a training camp battle brewing?
I'm pretty sure Coleman Shelton still has it locked up at this point.
That one year with Chicago didn't work out very well apparently because now they're still looking for a starting Center with a vet versus a rookie.
Chicago has had pretty much a revolving door there for a few years now.
I would almost bet that it was Stafford who wanted Shelton back after not having him for the '24 season.

K Mavis - What a leg! He gets the ball up fast and when I say up, I mean up and out of reach of any defenders leaping to block it. Did I mention the distance? I think many of his kicks would have been good from 60 yards!
Very encouraging on multiple fronts. The 60 yards is what was lacking last year. McVay didn't let him try from long distance.

I believe he missed most of those games after being diagnosed with the blood clots. He hasn't missed many other times except for that suspension. Hoping that we are passed all of that at this point. He is a very good left tackle, especially for an UDFA. But I do expect the Rams to draft another tackle next spring, especially if they feel guard is Trost's best position.

Just got home.
Over an hour to get home, bumper to bumper on the 405.

You should never take your traffic advice from the Californians.

Just got home. Over an hour to get home, bumper to bumper on the 405. Taking a nap, then dinner. Camp report latter this evening. A good practice. Stafford took a lot of snaps. No noticeable injuries.
Met SoRam we had beer, great guy.

Til then.....
What does So Ram sound like? Does he speak like he posts?

Conversation on Hunter reminds me— I didn’t notice Hunter at all (maybe a dropped pass in the flat but could have been Watters), but Dean Conners had some juice. There was one stretch run where a LB got an angle near the LOS and Conners hit another gear to accelerate past him. If they were tackling he probably would’ve been taken down for an 8-10 yard gain (out of nothing) but he kept scampering to the end zone untouched
