FWIW guys those of you who are not from the St.Louis area may not be in tune to what a great place it is to play sports.
People in St.L are friendly ,make eye contact and ask "how ya doin" and MEAN IT.
The list of star baseball players who've come here and stayed is remarkable and IMO Stan Kroenke is building an organization very similar to the Cardinals a place that DOES "feel like home".
Sports personalities are virtually the only celebrities here ,no competition with tv, movies, politics, media. It's not so congested (like NY) that you can't afford to stop and say hello or you'll be late to wherever you are going, they aren't afraid that if they engage at all they are gonna be sorry,and for young men there is no shortage of night life.
I will say this though, Tavon hasn't been through a bad St.Louis winter yet,if he still likes the place ,he'll probably retire in W St.L county ,have a home on Lake of the Ozarks ,have Cardinal season tickets. FWIW if there was an athlete Tavon reminds me of it's Ozzie Smith,I'd bet he could lead the NL in stolen bases if he wanted to,but he probably can't hit "Charlie".
