I read the copyright laws from the era it was created and did a copyright search.
Not saying it isn't, I just couldn't find it.

Copyright laws from all eras last a long time... usually in the neighborhood of 100 years or more.
Printing an NFL logo without permission is not a good idea.

I researched the laws and, based on the year this was created, this could not be copyrighted any longer unless they filed for an extension, which I can't find in any of the databases.
It's the same reason so many older songs aren't copyrighted. They didn't file the extension in time.
However, I will take the cautious route and find something else.

That would be a trademark - I believe. I just renewed "Everyone Loves a Great Rack" The first period is 5 years and you have to show it being used. You can then renew the trademark registration for 10 years but you still need to show it being in continual use. I'm pretty sure you can just keep renewing every ten years. But if you allow it to lapse and others start using it, you often can't renew it again. The rights of the artist that came up with the design however may stay in effect ad infinitum or at least until the artist dies.

If you are attending the Thordaddy game and want one, PM me.
They will be $15-17 ea. I'll request payment thru the donations link, add comment "T-shirt please", as it prevents me from having to deal with cash. I'll communicate that once the price is set.
They are a Haynes Beefy-T, so include your size in the PM.
In order to make the game, I need to order ASAP.
My plan is to distribute Saturday evening.

I know you guys have put a lot of thought and hours of design into the shirts, but that Ram looks like a combo of a horse from the Pink Panther cartoon series, and the white walkers from Game of Thrones
