I've got my 3 sons and their ladies coming over... they'll be bringing their dogs too. I may have a few friends come over as well.

I am still trying to decide what to cook.

But I have 100% decided to be hammered while I cook whatever I'm gonna be serving.

I've hosted SB parties and I've gone to SB parties (last years had a Bucs fan, a SF fan and a Denver fan; all but the Denver fan acted like assholes). But I enjoy myself most when I'm just watching the game with my family. Which is what I'll be doing this year. Of the SB parties I've hosted the most enjoyable was SB34. Still I don't like it when some people are more interested in talking over the game than watching the game. Of course, I'm never rude unless turning the sound bar up to drown them out is rude! :wow2::laugh1:

We will host for friends & family as we often do for Super Bowl, last year notwithstanding because on Ram fans were invited. About 30 people and it will be a catered event from a renown Italian Eatery that has been operating since 1946, the Harry Truman Administration.

Most will leave by halftime as we are held hostage on the East Coast, however, I did take Monday off (always do) so that is a plus. This will be the first Super Bowl for my Grandson Max, who will be one year of age in May, so his Papa will be whispering in his ear to never trust an official and how happy he is that the San Francisco 49ers at not there.

Yes @Merlin there will be plenty of wine served, but my Ram compadres will drink a toast to tinsel town as we embrace last years victory even after the glitter fades.

I'm not sure what I want to cook. I was just going to get a pizza and throw back some beers. The wife is out of town so I'm watching the game alone this season.

I've decided on 1 thing I'll be serving now... gonna get a bushel of oysters.

Still trying to decide on the main meal though.
good plan.. might have to take a trip to my buddy's oyster farm and see what he has left.... warmer than average winter so he may have some keepers lingering in the beds

I'm making birria tacos and some assorted sides. Some cheesy refried bean dip, probably a chorizo and queso thing.

The birria tacos were a big hit the last time I made them, which was the first time I made them, so hopefully I don't botch it the second time around. I need to make a spicy batch and a mild batch this time though. It was all mild last time and I really wanted something with a little kick.

Not a damn thing. We’ve been doing so much around the house that I’ll just be happy for the day off… if I don’t have to cook, I’m golden

I'm ordering for delivery, so it will either be Hot Chicken Wings & Pizza or Chinese food, ... still undecided.

Baby back ribs. Am getting a blow torch so can't wait to use that on the brown sugar coating a la Bogarts
