Super Bowl LIX: Chiefs vs Eagles Vent Thread

No vent here. Sick of the Chiefs, sick of the close calls going their way. Don't like the Eagles, but I like the way the delivered a beatdown and took the refs out of the game early. Chiefs were totally on their own tonight, and it showed. Not even sure they were the best team in the AFC.

One other thought ... as much as I hate the phrase "defense wins championships" (as many Rams fans who lived through the 70s do), tonight it was as true as it has been since either the Bucs beat the Raiduhs or the Ravens beat the Giants. Not that Philly's O was bad, but their D was as dominant as ever.

Eagles are better at 85% of the positions on the field. Easy money on that bet. Unfortunately the Rams will have to deal with this team for a while yet. They aren't going anywhere.

Yeah, this year was an example of how we could have stole a ring had they upset the Eagles. The Chiefs pass protection would have struggled against us as well. Our secondary isn't as good, but we would have had an excellent chance to beat them.
