What size crowd would at least satisfy you?

I'm going to say a legit 60k sounds good enough for me. If it sounds low it's because i'm not expecting Panther fans to show up, at all, and the 3 game losing streak + week being inactive more than likely takes away 10% of people who would be there if Rams were still in first.

Dream case scenario(even if place is half empty) would be having the camera pan to a very jumpy/hands waving/general animated crowd as Gurley breaks a 50 yarder. Just want to see some Passion! I'm jealous of what teams like Buffalo and Oakland has. Strangers hugging strangers regardless of score/record.

How about 80,000 after Fisher announces that Goff will start against the Panthers . A guy can dream .

Sounds cool, but I doubt an announcement will create any kind of spike
I don't think we get an attendance spike out of Goff until he has a 300+yd 3td game in a win. A 67~ qb rating opening game out of Goff will damage ticket sales.

If the Rams open up the xtra seating Max is about 90000. Without the xtra 6000 seats it's about 84000 max! My guess is 84k!!!(y):snicker: 83999 will be Rams Fans!:shades::rockon::cheers:

Rams list 84k as the max right now and ESPN says there are 6200 seats available. I'd say your 60k is way too low of a guess.

Hell , I'll jump on a plane to LA if he makes that announcement. That's how sure I am that it won't happen .

I must be seriously underestimating the city of LA.I think It's tough to gage so far because of our two home games one was historic and the other was when we were a first place squad.

It's still a shiny new toy. Even is some of the people that went to the first two games don't go this week. There will be others. There is enough of a population base that it would take a couple years of bad records for attendance to drop. People who don't really pay attention to the numbers like to talk about the so called "Lakers bad attendance" with their couple years of losing in a row, granted the Lakers are one of the most storied franchises in sports and in a different league than the Rams, but their bad attendance? Still sold out 98% of their arena. I think half the teams in the NFL don't report that kind of attendance and the NFL fudges their numbers so badly it's impossible to tell how many are actually there unless you look at the stands.

I've been to all the games so far and I'll be there on Sunday too. you cant even get something from the concession stands without waiting an hour to a hour and a half, its crazy packed every time. definitely not an event for someone that's claustrophobic - way too many people.

To me, the amount of butts in seats during the 3rd quarter is a realistic estimation of the actual attendance of a game. The numbers that used to be announced in STL were a joke and usually off by upwards of 40%.

One game that really comes to mind the that Thursday night game vs Cards in '14. There couldn't have been more than 10k at kickoff and 25k by end of game. I think they announced an attendance of over 50k. Those red seats really made things look even worse than it appeared

I sort of wish our fans would all show up wearing the same color(preferable yellow...lots do wear blue but it's not exactly an in your face color), making it easier to determine the true capacity it look very aesthetically pleasing during sold out games. The throwback architecture of the Coliseum forces intimacy, would love to see Rams host a playoff game within next few years because I want to take advantage of the '12th man' aspect and general chaos, which will be history once the Inglewood stadium is built....I'm not looking forward to it.

I've heard concessions at games have been awful. Not enough outlets and I understand there's a serious lack of refrigeration. I heard they ran out of water during the SEA game.

I love the Coliseum but it seems the layout/logistics are not even close to NFL standards. It doesn't effect me at end of the day being on the opposite coast and stuff. I hope to continue reading fans experiences during home games.

If fisher announced Goff as the starter, I would imagine a sell out crowd. But with Keenum as QB and after losing 3 straight games, I expect a crowd of about 70,000, give or take a few thousand.

What you should say is your jealous of real college football programs like Michigan how they have had 30 years ish of packing 110+ thousand every game! :ROFLMAO::sneaky::whistle: Pretty good thing they created huh?

I hear your frustration but I don't think i'm the only one who is just fine with Case remaining the starting QB(we're just not as vocal). People aren't staying home because of our QB.

I don't want a first time starter who WILL be filled with nervous energy making his debut in front of hungry/weary crowd..... likely affecting his already questionable accuracy. .
He definetly isn't experienced enough to read defenses, call effective audibles, or have ability to extend a play. Three aspects needed for a chance at a W.

Stadium is packed man it's a bitch trying to do anything outside of your seat. We don't buy anything inside anymore you'll miss a whole quarter of the game. Tailgate then watch the game is the way to go.
