My knee jerk /initial reaction to the thought of our Rams signing Suh was mixed with skepticism and a little trepidation due to the dollars I thought would be needed to bring him onboard and not interfere with getting Donald resigned. I also was initially not sure how Suh would fit in Wade's scheme considering that our Rams parted ways with Ogletree and Quinn because they were not true scheme fits in Wade's 3-4 and they needed cap space for this season and beyond to get keep their talented roster intact (Donald, Goff, Gurley & Peters).
Now after some time to marinate on the fantasy of Donald, Suh, and Brokers, smashing offenses via Wade's schemes I am moving into the "Absolutely" camp. As to the money, the Rams are only going to be able to offer what they can afford under the cap, which is more limited now that they have extended Colman, Sullivan, and Easley.
The easiest cap cut on the roster to ad space at this point is Webster. Cutting Webster would only add 500K in dead money but free up 3,375 million in cap space. Cutting Barron would free up more cap space (5 million) but it would create another starting hole on the roster while Webster is at best third of fourth on the depth chart.
